Uyuni - Day 1: (L, D)\n\nOur adventure begins visiting an outdoor museum of ancient and impressive field trains in Uyuni.\n\n\nColchani - Step visit with photo stops.\n\nSalar de Uyuni - Step visit with photo stops.\nEnter the Salar by Colchani where we will see the salt processing and piles of salt, visit the hotel salt, eyes water and continue downtown to visit the Incahuasi Island of volcanic rock and giant cactus and a top that climb it becomes extraordinary viewpoint of the white salt plain. \n\n\nIsla Incahuasi - Step visit with photo stops.\n\nTunupa Volcano - Step visit with photo stops.\nThen we’ll go north, a distance of several kilometers to the Thunupa volcano, whose slopes accede to visit the Pucara of Ayque (pre-Columbian ruins), with great views, Coquesa Mummies and the Mirador de Thunupa, which ascend in car to near its crater for a breathtaking view of the Salar, in all its glory.\n\n\nTahua - Stop and overnight in Salt Hotel.\nOvernight at the Hotel Tayka de Sal, which are ecological model and hotels with private bathroom, heating and excellent service. The hotel Tayka de Sal is located at the foot of the majestic volcano Tunupa.

Embark on a memorable journey encompassing nearly 7,500 square miles (12,000 km²) of striking salt flats and otherworldly desert scenery, including the colorful lagoons within the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. The brilliant white expanse of Salar de Uyuni mimics a vast ice field. During the winter (the dry season from May to October), the surface solidifies, revealing geometric shapes created by the clustering of salt crystals into polygons. Come summer (the rainy season from November to March), the saline flatland transforms into an enormous reflective surface, seamlessly merging with the intensely azure sky above.
