Embark on a remarkable journey through nearly 7,500 square miles (12,000 km²) of incredible salt terrains and surreal desert and multicolored lagoon scenery of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. The radiant white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni is akin to a vast glacier. In winter (dry season from May to October), the surface solidifies, revealing geometric shapes created by aggregating salt particles into polygons. In summer (rainy season from November to March), the salt desert morphs into a colossal mirror, reflecting the clearest blue sky you’ve ever witnessed.
