Nice trip - Gary picked us up on time from the hotel along with others. He narrated story of New Orleans and Surroundings as we drove to plantation that took 1+ hr. The place is quite scenic although seeing the slave quarters on one side and mansion on the other side brings unpleasant memories practiced those days. It's history but a reminder that humans take too many things for granted and one needs to look back. Modern day sugar production is quite different and machinized and there's a theater showing short film. Enjoyed the trip overall.

20/10 Recommend - DONNA our driver, was absolutely amazing, funny, personable, and very knowledgeable in several different topics, and gave us a well rounded history lesson of New Orleans. Captain Ernie at the swap tour, was such a lover of the swamp, you cant tell by the passion he exudes when he talks about the wildlife, He has done his homework and was born and raised in the area, so he has extensive knowledge and we learned a lot! Oak alley was beautiful and full of so much history, We had a whole day of learning and seeing all the beauty of the house, and the oak trees were absolutely breathtaking. I recommend this tour 10/10.

An excellent day out - Drivers were professional, organised and informative and the tour guides at both locations were excellent. Dewey was excellent and clearly loves his job and the environment he works in. Oak alley was also very interesting and informative. All in all, the best money we’ve spent this trip

Rated average due to the scary driver 😱 - We began our trip by being collected at our hotel. After picking up a few more people we were transferred to a bigger coach. The driver to the plantation was very funny and entertained us throughout the journey with facts and some anecdotes. The plantation itself is a must attraction. The main house is breathtaking and the tour was very informative. There are many outbuildings with information about the slaves lives and also many well-kept gardens to walk around. We had the same driver on the return. Unfortunately his driving was very aggressive and erratic. He was obviously late getting to the next bus for the swamp tour transfer. He stopped enroute at a petrol station, not for fuel. Just 10 minutes after we left the plantation. Many of the passengers were scared and quite often screamed with fear as we were thrown about on the coach. We transferred to another coach and the lady was wonderful. Her driving was very carm and the information she imparted during the journey was great. The swamp tour is a must for anyone visiting New Orleans. The driver was amazing and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The journey from the swamp tour back to the hotel with the same lady was also fine. I would thoroughly recommend these tours but somebody needs to have a word with that driver.

Book directly and drive yourself. - Huge waste of time riding in a bus waiting for individual drop on/offs of 30+ people. Driver admitted it was not a guided tour. So, you didn't learn anything about the area. Would have saved a lot of time driving ourselves. Leaving the plantation, the driver left 30+ people on the bus while he ran to the restroom. After, he stood in the Cafe flirting with the Cafe lady for an hour. Strolled back to the bus looking at his phone like he had all the time in the world. Then, hit every bump and drove dangerously. Plantation tour was OK. Their only focus was slavery. There was a lot more to life at a southern plantation. Swamp tour was great fun. Saw a few alligators and beautiful scenery and other wildlife. Tour guide hand fed an alligator. There was even an opportunity to hold a little alligator.
