- Saint Hripsime Church - Built by the order of Catholicos Komitas in 618, Hripsime Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The legend of Hripsime dates back to the early days of Christianity. Hripsime fled to Armenia to escape persecution by Roman Emperor Diocletian. A devout follower of Christ, Hripsime refused to marry the pagan Armenian King Trdat III and chose martyrdom. A small chapel was initially erected at the site of her martyrdom, and in the 7th century, a magnificent church was built there by Catholicos Komitas.

The monastery’s unique character is highlighted by its austere architecture and the breathtaking natural scenery of the surrounding canyon.
- Garni Temple - Garni Temple is the only surviving pagan temple in the Caucasus region. Dating back to the second half of the 1st century, it was dedicated to the Sun God. After Armenia’s Christianization, the temple served as a royal residence.
