FANTASTIC TRIP! - Really terrific 6-hour cruise to Columbia Glacier. The vessel is very comfortable & safe, & the crew, personable & knowledgeable. Captain Chris is an absolute encyclopedia of area knowledge! The icebergs are stunning, such a mysterious, silent, calm setting.

The boat was comfortable and the inside was perfect to warm up between hanging out on the deck. The captain's informative commentary made the experience even better and we learned so much! If we ever find ourselves in Valdez again, we'd definitely consider doing this tour one more time.

Great rainy day tour in Valdez - The Columbia Glacier tour with Stan Stephens was nothing short of amazing! We spotted sea lions, sea otters, and even an eagle. The captain shared fascinating insights about the wildlife and surroundings. The boat was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of seating options and delicious minestrone soup for lunch to warm us up. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable wildlife experience!

Great time - We had a great time. The crew were friendly and helpful. We didn’t realize we were getting lunch. It was delicious. The best clam chowder I’ve had in awhile. The captain knew so much information about the area and the sea life. His head had to have been on a swivel to have pointed out all that he did. The ship was very comfortable and smooth in the water. This has been one of our favorite Alaskan experiences.

a trip worth taking - The trip was so good. The weather cooperated and was sunny and calm. The boat is very comfortable and very clean. the lunch was simple (soup and bagel) but delicious. the staff were very friendly. the trip was narrated the whole way and learned many interesting things about the area and the wildlife. We saw a humback and her baby, hundreds of sea lions sleeping on the beaches, sea otters napping on on chunks of ice. Definitely a trip worth taking. Next year will try the Meares cruise

Awesome Glacier and Wildlife Cruise - Absolutely fabulous glacier tour. The Stan Stephens Glacier and Wildlife Cruise staff were professional, helpful, personable and knowledgeable. The captain of the cruise would stop the boat to make sure everyone had an opportunity to see the various wildlife and would talk about each species we viewed. He even turned the boat around to catch glimpse of humpback whale that surfaced on our return trip and waited about 20 minutes to get another view once the whale resurfaced. Once we were at the glacier - we saw the Meares Glacier - the sights and sounds were breathtaking. Again, the captain was informative on the formation of glacier, explaining what we were seeing and hearing. The captain positioned boat for optimal viewing and photographs. The boat was clean and easy to maneuver through the two decks, inside and outside. There were plenty of lavatories onboard. They served drinks throughout the day and served a light breakfast and a warm, delicious lunch. I appreciate that they also catered to those with dietary restrictions. I will definitely take this glacier cruise again and highly recommend this cruise to everyone visiting Alaska.

Fantastic cruise - Fantastic trip! Crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. Took time to stop and wait whenever animals were spotted. Such an incredible place!

Very nice boat ride with great views, animal sightings, great crew - Captain was great and narrated throughout. Saw orcas, sea lions, puffins, seals, otters. Great views of Columbia glacier. Everything was run very efficiently. Highly recommended.

Wonderful boat ride - lots of beautiful things to see - Really enjoyed this trip. We saw wildlife, got lots of pictures of the glacier and just had a really good time. The chowder was delicious!
