We ride from Quinta do Lago along the sandy trails through the lagoons and salt flats to Faro Island. Although not officially an island as it is joined to the mainland by a narrow road bridge that leads to a vast area of gloriously deserted beach with cafes and the chance of seeing dolphins.
Sunset, Sunrise and lunch tours can all be adapted! There is a drink stop on the Island.

All riders must have a valid driving licence or a moped licence.

Amazing Trip With Wonderful Guides - This is the fourth time that I have been on a Dirtebikers tour and, as always, it was an amazing experience. This time myself and five friends did the Faro Island tour. The tour was probably both the easiest in terms of difficulty and also the prettiest and most relaxing of all the tours. I would strongly recommend it to anyone but especially those that are maybe a bit wary of getting on an e-bike. It is a great introduction.
Thanks to Brad and all the team at Dirtebikers for another memorable experience.

Great day out away from the crowds - Great time with Dirt-E Bikes! Exploring the countryside around Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago on an electric bike was an exciting experience to say the least!. The tour took us off road, through the tracks around the area and down to Faro island. The bikes were easy enough to handle and comfortable enough, and was good fun. A huge thanks to Anna and the team for being so friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to see the Algarve from away from the norm!

Brilliant Experience! - We selected to go on two tours as a group and we couldn't have had a better time. We were a group with a range of ages but the biking suited us all and will be looking to book again when we return! Russ was a great tour guide and Anna was very helpful in the run up to the day, responding to our questions without delay. Highly recommended! Sam

Easy to Ride & Great Fun - We did the Ria Formosa to Faro Island tour, had a Ball! Bikes are well maintained and look like new, easy to ride & comfortable for a nice long tour.
Russ makes a great tour guide, with a fantastic local knowledge and an incredible sense of where he is - even on the most remote dirt tracks. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we did another tour into the hills 2 days later. we will do it all again next year.

Russ was great! Patient,... - Russ was great! Patient, informative, reassuring, knowledgeable and friendly! A lot of fun and plenty to take in during a tour of wetlands with flamingos and storks, salt flats, beach and even high-end real estate!

Fab afternoon - Had an amazing afternoon, totally recommend this tour. Hubster rides a motorbike but a totally new experience for me and after a nervous start I loved it. The guys were helpful and extremely patient. Went off road as well as on the road, riding the salt pans was a real experience. Think wine tour next.

fun way to see the Algarve - Great, loved it. My partner was a nervous rider, but she was made to feel comfortable using the bike within minutes. I ride a motorbike normally and while different I thoroughly enjoyed it. Went on a lovely circuit to areas we were not aware off. We did sections off road and on road and the bikes were capable of handling both scenarios. Really recommend it.

5* adventure e-bike ride - Fantastic experience riding what are very stable and safe e-bikes through beautiful scenery to see wildlife and the glorious Ria Formosa , to a great coffee stop on Faro island & a breathtaking sunset.
The bikes are straightforward, easy for novice, comfortable and great fun to ride. Give yourself a confidence boost taking them round the track at the hub before setting off.
All in all an excellent exciting experience, highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! - What a fantastic experience we had on an e-bike tour with Russ. Russ was an amazing guide and put us both at ease with the bikes. Loved our stop at the shack on Faro Island for a massive toastie! Also the pink flamingos! Thoroughly recommend this experience and we`ll be back on our next trip to the Algarve...one of the best experiences we`ve had on holiday

Book this tour! - My husband and I had a blast on this tour! The bikes are quite easy to handle and Russ made sure we were safe and had an excellent time! AND we saw flamingoes!
