After gathering our bicycles, we’ll ride along the river until we encounter the esteemed City of Arts and Sciences. Capture breathtaking pictures as we navigate these architectural marvels.
Next, we journey on the cycle path past the harbor and onto the beach walkways of Pinedo and El Saler. The bike path runs beside the beaches and sand dunes, snaking through wooded spots. We’ll reach the petite man-made La Devesa lake, and then progress onto the expansive Albufera natural lake. The Albufera supplies water to the neighboring rice fields, used to cultivate the renowned paella rice. We’ll pause at the viewpoint for lunch before returning to the city.
This ride is entirely level and follows specially designed bike paths all throughout. It spans 37 km (23 miles) round trip. The pace is leisurely, intended to fully appreciate the landscape.
