Two day private tour in Valencia, Spain - I highly recommend this tour group. Sonia was our personal guide for two days in Valencia. She was wonderful. She was energetic, knowledgeable, very nice and spoke English extremely well. She explained the history of Valencia in a thoughtful manner with great respect for it's background. We experienced food and drink through the tour. She brought us to her family's favorite paella restaurant to experience "real" Valencian paella. If we return for another visit to the South of Spain, we will certainly use this service and Sonia.

Fantastic tour through Spanish history by a gifted historian/storyteller - Thank you so much, Kate! You enthusiastically shared your love for Spain, particularly Valencia. You are a fantastic teacher of Spanish history. Our group spent a day long trip with you to L'albufera where paella originated, (rice paddies, a boat trip on the lagoon, local lunch) and a visit to the castle hilltop town of Xavita. Along the journey you summarized Spain’s rich history from prehistoric farming to its present day thriving democracy as only a gifted storyteller/historian can. As you said and all of us agreed Spain has to learn how to market its rich heritage better to the world. We were enthralled the whole time. Quick visit to Valencia - Kate was very efficient and knew great local spots as well as tourist spots and we were able to see most of the key attractions.

The best part of our 2 weeks. - Marta was an outstanding guide. She added so much information and personal touches throughout the tour. Valencia became a favorite for my friends and reinforced for me that I must return and spend more time. You can plan on a top notch experience with this tour.

An amazing full day in Valencia with Sarah-Kate - Our tour with Sarah was amazing and impressive! Her extensive academic knowledge about the history of Valencia and her genuine enthusiasm and passion of the region transformed us back to life and times of the people who lived during that period… we felt the hope, the love, the joy, and the pride of the people of Valencia’s long rich history. Sarah taught us about events that weren’t discussed much in our history classes… it will open your heart and mind to what the region offered and continues to do so. We were immersed in a time where different religions and cultures (Jews, Catholics and Moors) worked together to bring about prosperity within the region… both in times of war and peace and how it impacts our lives today. INCREDIBLE!!! - I had the pleasure of traveling to Spain for work. With the extra few days I took I decided to book a private tour with Kate who owns Valencia Private Tours. Let me tell you how surprised I was with the way everything was set up. Kate is the most wonderful person with an incredible personality. Her knowledge of Spain is absolutely incredible and I feel like I got extremely lucky to have had her as a tour guide. She did not let me miss any part of the tour and what we were doing. Discovering Valencia - We had the most amazing day. Kate, our guide, was excellent company and so knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm was infectious. Her many stories and anecdotes made the history of Valencia come alive. Highlights included the old city, the CAS, the lagoon and a visit to El Palmar.

A Magnificent Day in Valencia! - What a magnificent day we had in Valencia with Sarah-Kate, owner of Valencia Private Tours.Kate is a dynamo! The minute you meet her you feel her warmth and energy! We had no idea how amazing Valencia was! Quite a cosmopolitan city amidst the medieval cobblestone streets, cafes and beaches. Seeing her home city through her eyes just doesn’t get any better!
