Our city guides (also known as Lokafyers) have a burning passion for their city and are excited to share their insights and viewpoints. These Lokafyers aren’t professional guides and only tour in their free time, making their tours unique, personal and have the feel of a friend guiding you around their favorite places. By the end of your journey, you’ll be proficient in navigating the city and assured that you have all the necessary information to fully enjoy your visit.
- Lokafy tours provide a general overview of the city with practical information from a local’s perspective, not detailed historical facts
- In case travellers would like to include a visit to an attraction, they would need to cover the cost of entrance for themselves and also the Lokafyer (local guide)
- Tours are entirely personalized, please provide the start time, meeting place and information about you so that we can organize the tour
- This is a walking tour. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Children below 3 years old are free of charge
- Children must be accompanied by an adult

Travelers can request the tour to start from any centrally located hotel. In case your hotel is outside the city center we will select a convenient meeting point in the city center.Tour may end at a different location from the departure point unless requested in advance of the tour.

An interesting 3 hours - Daniel was informative and interesting. Took us all over the old city and introduced us to a local drink that was delicious. It was a very worthwhile encounter.

Fantastic tour and guide - Great tour especially since we had a very limited amount of time. Daniel is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Kept our interest and it was great to have a tour guide that actually listened to what we were hoping to accomplish in a little amount of time. Thank you Daniel!

Great personalized tour - Vincent, our tour guide was great! He communicated with us the kind of tour service he can provide every step of the way. He was able to accommodate our personal tour preference of visiting sites outside the city center by taking us to the beach neighborhood and the La Albufera which we would otherwise not see without a car. He was amazing, fun and friendly. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Valencia.

Loved my tour with local guide - I loved my experience in Valencia with the local tour guide. Some people like big tours I prefer private or small group experience. A few days before my trip I received a message from Vicent asking what would I like to see during my 3-hour tour in Valencia.
I travel a lot and always try to learn about the local culture. I told him that I would like to see the town like a local. He picked us up from the hotel and we started our 3 hours walking tour at our own pace. It felt that we just met our old friend and spending a couple of hours in a new town. 3 of us just walked, had a nice conversation, stopped for a coffee and casually learned about the city. I loved the flexibility of this private tour and the personal attention that you never can get with 15 people group. I would recommend this to everyone to experience.

Personalised Walking Tour - I had a great walking tour with a local guide. She picked me up at my hotel and just walked the city as if we were old friends we stopped for a taste of Valencia breakfast and chatted.
What I loved the most was the fact that my guide was local and as we walked around the city she told me stories about churches and buildings and her childhood in Valencia. Which churches are used for different types of praying or explained how something had changed over the past years. There is nothing better than sharing a city with someone that has lived there and all their lives

Overpriced - Very sweet and nice guide, but unfortunately she did not speak English well and it was very difficult to understand or communicate, even to ask questions. Not a good story teller, possibly due to the language berrier, but it created a daunting and overpriced experience.
