Nice day - We got super lucky as there were only 3 of us and our amazing guide Juan Carlos, so it turned out to be a private tour. Everything went smoothly, we enjoyed our day and learned a lot from Juan Carlos, he even took us to a secret location to enjoy the view on the damn. I highly recommend it in summer, we went in September and the water was a bit cold to my liking, though some people still managed to swim, so depends on one’s ability to tolerate low temperatures.

One of the best day tours we’ve done - Wow, just wow. Everything was spot on. Very small operator taking up to 8 people at the most. But what day. Fantastic scenery, including extras not stated in the literature. Juan was the perfect host, from knowledge about the sites and places we visited and passed through to his genuine concern for his customers. An absolute must if visiting Valencia. Keep up the good work Juan

Back to nature! - Wonderful day away from the city and back to nature. Our guide Juan Carlos was very friendly and helpful. We stopped at the girlfriend waterfall and then went on to montanejos to swim in the thermal springs.

Quite an Adventure! 100% recommendable - Mandatory stop if you spend a few days in Valencia. They had told us about Montanejos but we didn't imagine that we would like it so much. Thank you for Juan Carlos's instructions, his attention and closeness. I recommend it 100%!

It was a pleasant day - The pictures are a bit deceiving, but bathing in the lake in the heat was great. If possible, don't go on a Sunday. Special thanks to JuanCarlos for his flexibility and helpfulness with the programme. He was very kind.

A driver in a van and that’s all. - We were looking forward to this trip to the ‘hot springs’. Our guide Juan Carlos was nice enough but provided very little guidance throughout the day. He met us a 30 minute walk from our hotel only to find we were the only 8 on the tour. His job seemed to be driving the rental van to two or three places and returning us back to our hotel. We would have liked more interaction and information along the route and certainly do not feel that this tour was worth the money. Quite disappointing.

Not recommended, just take this day trip off your list. - This day trip is really not recommended and a waste of money. We were picked up with another couple at the football stadium by a friendly man with a rental car without any further identification or identification. After an hour's drive we arrived at the waterfall (or what passes for it). It was quite a walk, but the location is really not worth a visit. See picture. Then towards Montanejos and that was a long drive, especially because the driver had taken the wrong exit (about another hour and a half drive). When we got there we were even more disappointed. It was very busy (see photo) and the bottom of the river was strewn with boulders and pebbles, so it was impossible without foot protectors. There were no hot springs, the water was even on the very fresh side. After enjoying a sandwich, we took an alternative walk along the river, but after an hour we called it a day. The couple from Glasgow who accompanied us also shared the same disappointment. And then another almost 2 hour drive, much of it on the highway, to then fortunately arrive back in Valencia too early. We paid 2 x 89 € or 178 €, much too expensive so certainly not recommended and a wasted day during our stay in Valencia.
