Carrer del Penyagolosa, 5 - We will meet at the door of San Valero Parish. We will go to the Ruzafa market together and we will make the purchase of the fresh products necessary to cook a good paella. While we are making the purchase we will tell you the origin of the paella and customs and culture of the Valencian people.
Later we will walk for 8 minutes to reach the kitchen where we will hold a sangria workshop. The chef will be waiting us with some delicious tapas accompanied by sangria, beer, water … Then our chef will explain step by step the preparation of a seafood paella and once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

We will teach you how to cook a seafood paella. A team of native cooks and assistants will guide you through the process in the most enjoyable and entertaining way. Our goal is for you to learn all the essential aspects of this dish. After completing the course, we will remain in contact to address any questions you may have until you become part of this select group of rice cooks.

Second time experiencing a taste of Valencia. - This was our second time doing this tour. We had a such a great experience the first time, we took our most recent visitors. They loved it. It was as amazing as it was the first time. Great drinks, great food and great entertainment. It gives you that authentic Spanish cultural experience. We actually plan on doing this again in September (with new guests). Highly recommend!!!

Fun day - Great value for money. - We had a really great day at My first Paella. The kitchens were great, nicely decorated and lovely and cool! The staff were all really friendly and did a great job at getting everyone involved and working together. We met some lovely people doing the course, everyone was encouraged to interact which created a great atmosphere. The Paella tasted amazing and we enjoyed sitting together to enjoy it, along with a glass or two of wine. Special thanks to José who guided us with kindness and humour to make our seafood paella.

Great experience - highly recommend - Our family of four (two adults, two teenagers) really enjoyed this entire experience. It was interesting to learn the history, how locals go to market, to prepare the dish and enjoy it! Great tapas and sangria to fuel our efforts. The staff were fabulous. Charming and friendly. They made it a great experience for everyone. The other participants in the class were from many places around the world, which was a fun experience too.

DON’T MISS THIS FUN EXPERIENCE! YOU WILL BE SORRY! 🤗 - Fun afternoon with BEST! We all had an amazing experience. It’s a MUST when you’re in Valencia! Everyone in the group got to participate in cooking the Paella while drinking Sangria. Tapas and desserts were delicious, too. 😋 I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family who will visit Valencia!

Amazing traditional paella! - From the meeting place to the cooking class, the experience was exceptional! The kitchen where we prepared the paella was well equipped.
Jose, Chris and the team were professional and experts as well as fun. The ingredients and preparation were top notch. Our paella was the best!
