Mimoza was fantastic and... - Mimoza was fantastic and provided us with a wonderful tailored experience! We even had to do this a little earlier than normal Spain dinner time (due to an early flight the next day), so she had to really flex the schedule to make it work. She was the best!

Fantastic guide around Valencia - We did two tours with Maria: a general guide around the centre of Valencia taking in (amongst others): Central Market; Silk Exchange; the palace housing the ceramics museum as well as a number of churches. InThe second, a foodie tour focussed mainly around the narrow streets of the northern central part of the city (Barrio del Carmen) taking in on the way the streets around the Cathedral and Basilica, Parroquia de San Nicolas and Torres de Serranos. We thoroughly enjoyed Maria’s description of the buildings as well as some of the city’s history. We had three food/drink stops taking in, amongst others, a small former pharmacy turned into a bar. Maria’s English was excellent (having lived in NY previously) as well as her knowledge ( her being a long term resident of Valencia). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Maria as your guide around the delights of Valencia.

A really nice time - Our guide Valentin did a really nice job of picking foods to eat and sights to see and explaining a little culture and history. The food choices were great and he accommodated my shellfish allergy. My favorite dish was the Tomato salad with cured tuna and capers. delicious!

Great time! - This was a fantastic choice and would do it again. We learned some of the history of Valencia and of the foods we ate. We tasted food that we otherwise would not have known to try. Maria made us feel comfortable and she was very informative. I recommend Maria and this delicious food tour!

Lovely foodie tour - Wonderful private food tour around the old city, just me and my wife. Lots of stops, not too much walking, lots of explanations about the city and the food we were tasting.

Great food and history - Valentin was incredible giving us some history of Valencia as well as taking us to taste and drink things we might not have normally tried. Horchata is a must and the tomato salad with the dried tuna on top. Yummy!

Thoroughly recommend for small group foodies! - A very casual but informative tour for foodies that also want to know more of the “less tourist” trail and some off the beaten track bars, restaurants and cafes.

Discovering Valencia - We were accompanied on our private tour by our guide for the evening, Valentin. He was a great guide, with an excellent command of the English language, who gave us a local's view of the city, its history, its buildings and off course, its food and drink. The time passed so quickly and it felt like we had spent an evening with an old friend. I would recommend this trip unreservedly to anyone visiting Valencia for the first time or even those who have been before, as the insights into the history of the city are so interesting.

Failed tour - The tour guide never showed. We waited for over an hour. I am very disappointed and expect a full refund. Cesar did call later in the evening and said he had a family emergency. I wanted to get some places to eat as we are here for the week. We have multiple events and do not have time to reschedule the food tour.
