Quality food - surprised we were able to make it turn out so well! - A friend and I did the Paella cooking class together on a recent trip to Valencia. There were two other people on the course. 4 total. Jorge was set up for us when we arrived. We made our own paella and tortilla de patata and the other two people made their own paella and tortilla. Plenty of food - we ended up taking lots home in a container. The quality of the ingredients were very good and we were really surprised and pleased with how amazing the food turned out. Well done. Would definitely do this experience again with different friends.

Paella cooking class - the best!! - Christian was our teacher and chef for our paella class - he was outstanding!! He was so knowledgeable, fun and we learned so much! We started off with a Valèncian cocktail, then started the prep for the paella - we made the whole meal of paella, a Spanish potato dish and a tomato & pickled guindilla pepper salad - it was all so delicious! We cooked, we laughed - so relaxing and fun! Many thanks to Christian - the most memorable part of our Spain trip!!

Friendly staff but disappointed - Once we arrived, there was no one to welcome us. There was a children's cooking class in process. Once Jorge came to greet us, we were allowed to go to the back side the building. There was a rabbit and a chicken placed on the counter. Once the "class" started, Jorge coughed covering his mouth and proceeded to cut the rabbit and the chicken without washing his hands. The rabbit and the chicken were for the 3 paellas. Everything felt very rushed and unprepared. Things didn't get any better as we started to cooked the spanish omelet, Jorge wanted me to use the same dirty plate with raw egg as the serving plate. The grater provided was dirty and I had to washed it before using. Once we asked for the dessert that it was included in this offer, we told that we had to pay for the dessert and for the wine. After discussing it we were only charged for one bottle for 3 couples that were participating and we never ate the dessert which was included. Overall the staff was friendly but it definitely has more than one area to improve.
