My First Paella - We have set out to teach you how to cook one of the most international dishes, the Valencian Paella. Rice is its main ingredient, followed by chicken, rabbit and vegetables.
We will meet in our kitchen. We will start with a sangria workshop that we will accompany with some delicious freshly cooked tapas and drinks. Then we will divide into groups and start with the paella workshop. We will discover the necessary ingredients to cook an authentic Valencian paella (fresh ingredients bought in the Ruzafa market).
Our chef will explain step by step all the secrets of a good paella and you will be the one who cooks the paella. While we cook we will learn a little more about the customs and culture of the Valencians.
Once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

Brilliant hands on experience - A brilliant, hands on experience - the expert and enthusiastic team at My First Paella guided us all through the process of making a paella, including the culture and history of the dish, which we sat down to eat at the end, and tasted great. Lovely drinks and tapas helped keep the social nature of the event flowing, and our paella 'guide' Juan did a great job of keeping our teenage son engaged and involved along with everyone else.

Not to miss activity - My 18 year old son and I did this and we had the best time. Jose was so much fun, the cooking experience was incredible and the group of people was fantastic. I am going to buy a paella cooking set when I get home

Best afternoon ever! - We had a lovely time!
The hosts were super friendly, we had good sangria and a lot of fun meeting other people at the class!
Everyone chips in under watchful eye of “paella experts” to make sure the dish tastes divine at the end of the course!

Awesome - do it!!! - Loved this evening from start to finish! Fabulously warm welcome, and fun and humor all night, super hosts and lovely venue, food was amazing, and well instructed, all hands on board to make the paella, including our two teenage girls who loved this evening!!!

Amazing class - I booked this class with 5 friends and we had an amazing time. The people of my first paella are so kind and funny. We had a lot of fun, we learned a lot and we enjoyed the sangria (and the paella of course :)). Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!

My First Paella - We walked in thinking we knew quite a lot about paella. Left realising we knew absolutely nothing. What a great and authentic experience from a lovely team. Don't leave Valencia without going to My First Paella.

Great experience! - What an awesome experience. My wife booked this for my birthday and it turned out to be a memorable event.
There were only three others in the cooking class and we cooked both the classic paella and the seafood paella. It was a hands on experience.
The staff was very welcoming as we learned first how to make sangria and the pitchers were endless. There was a sampling of tapas at the beginning before we began the cooking class.
The space was deigned perfectly for the cooking class and the required individual interaction was a perfect experience.
I would highly recommend this experience and know the staff will take care of you and your party. Checkout their website and book on your next adventure to Valencia. Enjoy!
