A Loved Culinairy Adventure in Valladolid! - If you're in Valladolid and love authentic Mexican food, Julián's Taquito Walking Tour is an absolute gem! From the moment we met Julián, his passion for food and local culture was noticed. He guided us through the charming streets of Valladolid, introducing us to some of the best taco spots the city has to offer. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen, showcasing a unique flavor or preparation style that truly highlights the diversity of Mexican cuisine. Ánd Julián has extensive knowledge of the history. It was a pleasure to engage in the stories. Graçias!

Best food tour in mexico - The tour was amazing. You get a lot of information about the history of the city, while stopping at 3 stops for taco’s +dessert. The food was the best we had in Mexico until then. Julian and his wife are very friendly . You get a lot of food so don’t eat to much. Drinks included. I really recommend this tour!

Book this Food Tour! - Julien was a wonderful guide! When he met us, it was raining and he produced rain ponchos for all 4 of us. First he took us to a street vendor to have the local taco speciality, Cochinita pibil. Then we went to a taqueria, where we had the tacos al pastor, along with horchata and hibiscus tea. He asked us about food allergies and he made sure my husband’s offerings were without cheese to accommodate lactose intolerance. Along the walk from place to place, Julien gave us the history of Valladolid and answered our many questions. The third eatery was his and his wife, Jimena’s, restaurant on Plaza Candelaria. We were treated to Jimena’s mother’s recipes for tostada and mole in the Mexico City style. One of our party was invited to make corn tortilla’s and then a quesadilla. We had more than enough food over several hours and a lovely walk thru the city. This was an excellent food tour and we highly recommend the tour and Julien’s restaurant, Tacos La Candelaria!
