Do not overlook this little gem - We arrived a little late and so missed the last showing of the audio-visual show so could only visit the historic infirmary on our visit. My initial disappointment was completely overturned by the presentation given by the curator (Anna?) as she made the place really come alive. I will not spoil any content that we presented but you come away with a real sense of how the infirmary was used and what it must have been like to be treated there. The tour only takes approx 30 mins but is worth every euro. Many thanks Anna, a great tour.

Things to do at the beginning of your stay ☺️ - Experience to do at the beginning of the stay to fully understand the beginnings of the civilization of Malta 🇲🇹 , a projection of about 1 hour then guided tour of a part of the hospital of about 30 min. Really interesting and translated into all languages with a headset 🎧 to of course.

Engrossing , clear tour by Anna - A very interesting show. The tour of the Sacra Infermeria afterwards was very good. Anna gave an engrossing, amusing and extremely clear account of how the care of sick men was carried out.

Great Historical Overview - Excellent historical overview of Malta. A must for anyone who has not studied their Malta history and has even a remote interest in the islands' rich history since 4000 BC and through the ages.

Definitely worth doing when in Malta - The audio visual is a concise recap of the history of Malta through the years. The content is engaging even for kids as young as 6. The guide made the Infermeria tour very interesting. Guide Anna was very professional and had an excellent method of delivery. This excursion was very worth doing. Walking down to the Malta Experience from the bus terminus also takes you through the interesting Valletta streets and this visit can be combined with the brilliant St Elmo fort that’s next door.

Must see! - The whole experience was jawdropping. Anna was our guide and that is the BEST tour guide I've seen in my life. The movie made us cry a couple of times and you can really feel the history of Malta.

Good experience! - We enjoyed Malta Experience. Went with 3 teens. All got something out of it. And we were glad to be in air conditioned auditorium. We especially liked the infirmary tour with guide Anna who was very knowledgeable and had very engaging style of delivery

Film, tour and Cafe - The air conditioned audio visual show was welcome respite from hot summer sun and very informative. We saw this towards the end of our stay in Malta so put what we had already seen in perspective. We had audio guide for Sacra Infermiera which did not pick up at designated points. Wi-Fi seemed glitchy- we learnt information from boards and imagined the rest. The cafe served delicious local cake and ice cold drinks- we revisited here after St Elmo Fort the next day too- and before a dip in the Med below the cliffs.

Good Infirmary tour, average audio/visual presentation - If you have read anything about the history of Malta this audio/visual presentation was not worth the price nor met the expectations set by the price. You also have to endure a long line of tour groups to get inHowever we paid the extra for the Infirmary tour , that was interesting and well conducted by the guide and fortunately none of the tour groups opted for this.

Good start into Malta's history but wouldn't do it again - It's 15 Euros for a 40 minute movie about the history of Malta. The movie itself is decent but the theater is pretty old, the seats are not that comfortable and the audio equipment had some issues. In my opinion the value for money is quite poor.
