A must go. - It's a wonderful experience to see how humble these nuns lived. So many things still untouched and beautifully displayed to touch reality. Tour guide was well informed on the matter and made this experience special.

So Simple, But Very Interesting! - I visited early on a weekday morning and the visit was so peaceful! I enjoyed learning about the history of the monastery that includes how it became a monastery, daily life of the nuns, food and food preparation, sleeping quarters, washing clothes, burial practices, and worship. The garden and burial quarters were so peaceful and wonderful to visit!

First visit to Valletta - Lovely, quiet and touching tribute to the Nuns and their way of life. The chamber in which they were laid to rest was particularly solemn. Thoroughly enjoyed

Malta Monastery - The young man that took our tickets, his grandfather, used to work at the monastery, and when he had conversations with the existing living nuns there, they were surprised to know that they actually knew the young man’s grandfather.

Visit with the Community College For the third age - I accompanied the community college for the third age to visit this historic site. Margaret was fantastic and so knowledgeable and ready to answer all of our questions. The ambience is so serene, the smell of the orange trees, and the authenticity of the artifacts take you back 400 years in time. A place worth visiting before it is lost.

Passing time - Sounded interesting & no mega expensive. It’s basically a walk round an old cloister at street level (not underground), with a few ante rooms. It’s ok if you want to cool down and stroll round for half an hour (don’t see how you’d spend 2 hours there). Things to see - a few old tin baths, few paintings & artwork of Christ etc, small shabby garden, few statues a mock up bedroom with signs in English relating what went on. Felt let down really but ok if you like history I suppose
