- Fort St Elmo - National War Museum - After some free time for a lunch break you will walk to the lower level of Valletta to the Malta War Museum. The museum itself is situated at Fort St. Elmo, an original defensive system built by the Knights which also was modified to serve the British military purpose. Among the numerous exhibits are the fuselage of one of the legendary Gloster Gladiators and well as the E-boat (human torpedo).
- Vittoriosa Waterfront - Birgu Waterfront - The tour will begin in Vittoriosa where you will see the fortifications which date back to the times of the Knights and were later used by the British for their defensive purpose. You will visit the maze like, underground Air Raid shelters and relive the conditions of what has been referred to as the Second Great Siege of Malta. These subterranean bomb shelters were excavated in the solid rock and were extended as the war progressed.
- Grand Harbour - After a short walk of Vittoriosa you will be driven to Valletta by bus. You will walk to the upper Barrakka Garden which enjoys a spectacular view of the Grand Harbour (the largest natural harbor of the Mediterranean Sea), which was a British military base and the main reason why Malta came under fire as soon as Mussolini declared war on the Allied forces.

Not to miss - Mario and Umberto were outstanding in their knowledge and care for the group. Sitting in the air raid shelter will stay with me for a long time.

Great guide with some... - Great guide with some very personal stories to tell from his memories. Museums were very good and the shore day was well worth the time.

Malta War Tour - Had a very enjoyable war tour experience. Started off with an Air Raid Shelter Tour for an hour which was fascinating & brought to life by a very knowledgeable guide Umberto explaining the real insights into what the war was like in Malta when the Lufwaffe were dropping bombs. Off to the Barrakka Gardens then for a 12pm cannon fire and finishing in another war museum/Fort in St Elmo. The walk around Valetta was really nice before we got to Fort St Elmo. Only 2 areas for improvement - have abit more time to walk around the museum near the air raid shelter and factor in lunch in Valetta as we were left to our own devices for food and was pretty rushed. All in all, a fab day out and would highly reccommend!

Interesting but Limited Information relating to WW2 - Yep, another Supreme Travel mis-sold trip.
That being said, the trip was very interesting and the Guide was fantatic. There was a lot of back story leading up to WW2 which whilst very informative and being a history buff, loved it, there was not a lot of focus on WW2.
The visit to the public air-raid shelter with Umberto as a guide was sobering. Really gave a good understanding of what the civilians of Malta went through during their Blitz.
Moving from there to Fort Elmo and that also was an interesting portion of the trip. Also, the set from Midnight Express was still in tact and was able to see it clearly which added to intrigue.
Went to a lovely place for lunch and then took off on foot to Valletta. This proved difficult as there was a lot of walking in extreme heat. Members of the party were older and one in a wheelchair so struggled with this. The trip was sold as a bus trip between sites. This needs addressing as there could easily have been some casualties.
We were near our hotel towards the end so we spoke to the guide and walked back to our hotel. Otherwise, we would have gone down in a lift, to get on a bus to bring us back up to the hotel.
Informative but could be much better. Again, no reflection on the guide.

2nd world war tour - This was an extremely good tour, Michael our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The reason for 4 stars is the information is max 10 people on this tour, we had 18. This possibly needs revising on your web page.
That said I would highly recommend the tour. It was we’ll organised from pick up at our hotel to drop off

Speedy War Tour - Very hurried tour and no time for lunch. What we saw was very good and informative. If you like a tour that moves at pace, this is for you, just bring your own food to eat as you move.

Good but could be better - The air raid tunnel part of the tour was very interesting and informative. I would fully recommend it, use the helmet provided as the tunnels are small. The guide for this was excellent.
The rest of the tour was more historical in relation to knights of St John and other historical key points in relation to the island.
The war museum was very interesting but you just walked around this yourself.
So, you go to the museum and tunnels separate if you wished.
The guide did have certain issues around the British and there time on the island. More so, than say Germans or Italians. A more objective approach would have made the tour more balanced.

Poor service and lack of communication - Well I couldn’t tell you waited an hour at pick up point and was not met so no trip for myself and family after paying £147 .00. No contact by anyone and no contact number given for our guide . Have contacted Viator for a full refund and I’m hoping they will refund me .
