Additional Information

This expedition takes us through Senglea, Vittoriosa, and Cospicua, stopping at Vittoriosa for about 30 minutes to take pictures.

An informative commentary in English from the driver will provide insight into the histories of Valletta and the Three Cities, intertwined with the two Major Sieges of 1565 and 1942. Powered by one of the first dual wooden-bodied buses bought in 1921 by the Cottonera Motor Bus Company, the tour offers a unique experience. These buses were assigned for service between Cottonera and Valletta and were crafted by regional carpenters and mechanics.

Simply magical - First off ~ we were welcomed with such wonderful warmth & humour from our very knowledgable and informative guide; found out many things re the history of Malta of which we wouldn't have discovered had we not taken this trip! Went on many other adventures around the islands but this was magical. Bus was a bit rickety, original frame with an updated engine. But even with my osteoarthritis issues i still enjoyed this immensely. In gratitude and humility to you for sharing such precious gifts with us! We are honoured to have met you kind sir. Helen and Elaine t's'ons.

easy, different, fun - We had david as our driver and he was awesome! it was convenient (picking us up close to our home), personalized (he showed us how to easily get to the science museum and then let us join the tour later to get back) and it was definitely was the BEST way to see the 3 cities. highly recommend

Convenient way to get a glimpse of the 3 cities - Recently restored vintage bus from the 50s was gorgeous and the driver was very friendly . A good and convenient way to see the Three Cities in the heat!

Good experience - It was great to discover some parts in Malta (Mdina, West coast etc) with this vintage bus. It had that authentic feeling, weather was good too. Food tasting was including, it was enough for a light lunch. It was safe and took for about 4 hours.

Relaxing time - Nice 2 h tour with David, the places are amazing and you have 30 min free time to wandering on the small streets of Victoriosa. Need more informations about the buildings/history during the tour. 18 euro/person Pickup near the hotel and also drop off (at 15.00, 16.00 or 18.00), very nice!

Great 3 Cities Vintage Bus Tour! - Hotel pick-up didn't go to plan, not as what was promised but not to worry, caught the vintage bus on time. David, the Maltese driver was excellent, a nice guy and formative. Once I got on the bus, the excursion was excellent and just what I'd expected. Rated 4, because of the pick-up mix up. In hindsight, I would have made my own way to get on the vintage bus in Sliema.

Different, slowly paced tour of not super-touristy areas - We chose this trip because we hadn't spent much time in the Three Cities on prior trips to Malta, and the vintage bus was a fun twist. It was nice, and we heard some interesting facts about the history of this area. Things to be aware of: The driver is a man of few words. He might come off as gruff to some, doesn't give a ton of information, just highlights, and can't answer questions while driving. The 90-minute tour includes a 20-minute stop in Birgu, where a bathroom stop is offered, provided you go to a café and purchase something. For the price, though, for us it was okay, and we didn't mind helping to keep that vintage bus running.

Don't bother - Bus never turned up,when I phones said we had missed it even though we was there 30mins early. Had to get on hop on bus to location. When arrived trip had gone wouldn't go with this company again . No apology just said it was our own fault joke
