Well worth the trip - Great experience into the mountains and valley . Ricardo was very good . We saw lots of nature and the 4x4 ride was exciting

Fun experience out of the city! - The views, the journey, and the guide were outstanding! Such an enjoyable afternoon for all ages. Our group of three, ages 19, 47, and 75, all had a very enjoyable experience. If you're looking to do something out of the city for a few hours, this is it!

This was our best tour so... - This was our best tour so far! Guides were super friendly, accommodating, helpful and fun. We were 4 adults, 1 senior, and 4 teenagers. All of them had a great time! Loved the time outside the city - so gorgeous! Highly recommended.

Uplifting - Josue was our guide. Not effusive but friendly and humorous in a gentle manner, sharing with us willingly and extensively over a wide range of subjects from history, geography, society, traditions, food, etc. He gave very clear instructions, always ensured our safety and spoke excellent English. The tour was exhilarating, fun, so different from the sights and sound of the city. Up on the mountain there is beauty, calm, fresh air, the smell of nature, friendly people. Thank you for sharing all that and more with us, Josue.

A fun adventure - This was a fantastic half-day trip and Ricardo was a wonderful guide. I wasn’t sure what to expect but getting out of Porto and into nature was very refreshing and the views were breathtaking. Riding around the mountains in the Jeep was a fun adventure and spending time by the lake was relaxing. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes/shoes. I highly recommend taking this tour!

A very enjoyable, friendly & informative day out of the city to appreciate the surrounding area. - This trip beat our expectations in many ways. We were fortunate that the sun shone when it was meant to be a damp, grey November day. However, we were alone in booking a tour that day so received personal and enthusiastic service from host Ricardo.
Great communication preceded pick-up from our Porto hotel & journey into the local mountain park. Ricardo explained much about the area as we drove and when stopped. First short stop at a very old biscuit maker in Valongo was an interesting diversion.
After that, the drive through the lovely mountains of the Parque das Serras provided tranquility and good views as well as more explanation of what we saw by Ricardo.
Following this, we had time to explore the very pretty small village of Couce and understand some of the local history before visiting a traditional bar & restaurant in nearby Sao Pedro. We enjoyed a drink in the traditional surroundings and were particularly fortunate that on this quiet day, there was also time to enjoy a wonderful, traditional lunch there before returning to Porto.
So we were fortunate that this was a quiet day for business, but Ricardo took the opportunity to go above and beyond to make this a special trip for us.
A truly memorable morning.

Amazing drive - An alternative tour for the nature lovers!
Going off-road and enjoying the view from the mountains is a must especially if you stay 3 or more days in Porto! Totally recommend that!

Such a great experience! - We loved this unique experience exploring the mountains outside of Porto, and a little peek at life outside the city. Ricardo was phenomenal! As we were visiting off season, he was able to pick us up at our hotel, and we embarked on a tour of the mountains nearby & some genuine culture of the surrounding areas. in addition to the amazing views & rollercoaster 4x4 experience (which was great fun), he took us to visit a local bakery, his local watering hole and a small village off the beaten path. It is clear Ricardo has a genuine love of his country & community. He shared his kindness, knowledge, curiosity & gentle humor with us throughout our excursion. We so enjoyed our afternoon with him, and would 100% encourage others to get to know the area through his eyes. .

Stunning mountains - Fantastic trip out to the mountains. Ricardo is good fun and very knowledgeable. The views are stunning. One of the best trips we've ever done.
