• Adventure Terevaka - IMPORTANT: Riders with advanced level experience.
  Pick up at your hotel (any accommodation in Hanga Roa). Travel by vehicle for 20 minutes to Vaitea Forest, on the southeastern slope of Mount Terevaka.
  Here you will meet and prepare your horse.
  Then we head out into the open countryside to the plains on the east side of the island, here we will find Moais off the tourist trails.
  There will be many moments of galloping, as we move among herds of horses and cattle that graze freely through the countryside.
  We will visit one of the main archaeological sites in Rapa Nui, the quarry where the Moai were sculpted.
  From here we will follow one of the ancient routes where these stone giants walked to their destination.

From the center of the island, we rode eastward towards the plains. Our destination is the island’s most significant archaeological site, the quarry at Rano Raraku where the Moai were carved.

From there, we will follow one of the ancient paths that these stone giants took to reach their final locations.

Be ready to keep up the pace during several galloping intervals.
