Plaza Sotomayor - Meeting point
Central square located in the Puerto Sector of our city where we will make the introduction to the tour and presentation of the participants. We will wait up to 15 minutes for all tour participants to arrive. - Muelle Prat - Prat Wharf: Wharf for small boats dedicated to tourist walks. In addition, from this point we will appreciate: The Port of Valparaíso and its large vessels dedicated to international trade, the Molo with warships, the city bay, hills, elevators.
- Barrio Puerto - We will walk through the streets of Patrimonial Valparaíso and the origins of the city. We will see the first church in the city: La Matriz, Plaza Echaurren, local commerce, traditional streets, Monument to Arturo Prat, Court of Appeals
- Ascensor El Peral - Elevator el Peral: We will go up to Cerro Alegre in one of the traditional elevators of the city, built in 1901 and that still has elements of the time and its operating mechanism in sight. The entrance to the elevator is included in the price of the tour.
- Paseo Yugoslavo - Already in Cerro Alegre we will see the city from one of the best points. We will see Valparaíso, Viña del Mar and Con Con in a single postcard. We will compare the current city with its golden age and we will understand unique nature.
- Cerro Alegre - Walk through Cerro Alegre and Concepción: we will enter the typical streets of our hills, enjoying its murals, colored stairs, unforgettable postcards. Here we will recommend places to have lunch depending on your taste.
- Ascensor Reina Victoria - Through this elevator we will go down to the City Plan quickly, safely, and without physical effort. The entrance to the elevator is included in the price of the tour.
- Plaza Anibal Pinto - Anibal Pinto: Typical meeting place of the porteños. Here we will wait for the trolleybus.
- Trolebuses De Chile S A - Typical means of transport in the city, named national monuments. We will tour the city in this sustainably since they are electric.
- Avenida Argentina - Walk along Av. Argentina: in this avenue we will see local commerce, the National Congress, study centers.
- Ascensor Polanco - Visit to the only real elevator in the city.

It was a great morning. ... - It was a great morning. We walked at a leisurely pace and saw so much of the city. Very interesting, informative and lots of fun. If you come to Valparasio you should do this tour.

A favorite tour ever, of scenic Valparaiso, with wonderful guides - One of our favorite tours ever, with Fernanda and her friend Kat. We got to see, taste and enjoy the essence of Valparaiso, strolling through the various neighborhoods and hills, or cerros. What we visited was fantastic, but what made the tour a favorite was our guides. They were patient with my Spanish and added several new words to my vocabulary, pointing out some of the differences between my (learned) Mexican Spanish and Chilean Spanish. When the tour was over, we enjoyed a simple lunch of homemade empanadas with them. What a wonderful, memorable morning!

Perfect and great fun! - This was a fantastic tour! We had asked to see the 'real' Chileans and Valparaiso and we were totally satisfied! The guides, Fernanda and Kathleen, were absolutely the most knowledgeable and friendly. We took a standard group tour later in the day. This tour with Fernanda and Kathleen was far more entertaining and informative. One of our guests said that we should have just extended this tour for another 2 or 3 hours--that's how much fun we were having. Be sure to do this tour if you are visiting Valparaiso--even if you have a tour with you cruise line.
