Great trip to Valparaiso with a stop at a winery - This tour was excellent, the guide, Daniel, was very kind and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating and patient. He took many pictures during the trip and sent them to us afterwards. The trip included a pick up from the hotel and the drive to Valparaiso with a stop at a winery in the valley of Casablanca. The tour in Valparaiso included a stop at Pablo Neruda’s house and a walk through the streets with explanations of the different graffiti and local landmarks. Lunch was on your own, but Daniel suggested some places. I would highly recommend taking this trip.

An exclusive and unforgettable tour - I went to Chile for the first time in October/24, on a surprise trip that my boyfriend planned. We stayed only 3 days, and on Saturday we took this walk with Daniel. First we stopped at the winery and then we went to Valparaiso. The tour was sensational, exceeded all expectations. Daniel presented the city as a real place, we walked a lot in the hills, but it wasn't tiring, because he placed the car in strategic places. He was super patient, it was a matter of recording all the photos. The tour was conducted in three people, which left us quite free to be able to do whatever we want within the established schedule. We walk by the funicular, we meet Pablo Neruda's house. At lunchtime, showed various restaurant options, explaining the dishes, and letting us choose where to eat without any pressure. We chose to eat a typical dish: chocolate pastel and we took sweat piss - a delight! In the end, you still had the boat trip in the Pacific Ocean, which was super worth it. I highly recommend! On the next trip to Chile I will surely go back to take tours with Daniel. Ps: I got engaged at the end of the trip!

Excellent day tour to Valparaiso! - This is an excellent day tour, and I cannot imagine one better from Santiago to Valparaiso. My sister and I had a great time with Daniel and another guest. He is knowledgeable and excited to share information about Chile's history and culture and knows so much about the street art in Valparaiso. He has expertly planned and paced this day and has been so thoughtful about all the details. The things we saw and did were so fun--everything from the first stop at a bakery to the street art to the boat tour to the wine! I can't say enough good things about the day!

Outstanding experience of the real Valparaiso! - What an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Daniel picked us up on time and took us on a journey in nature, culture, and history. He is extremely knowledgeable about all the things we saw in Valparaiso and more. The way he structured the tour worked extremely well for us: he showed us the areas of interest, told us their stories, and then gave us time on our own to explore them. I also believe he knows everyone in Valparaiso or about to :-) as he is extremely friendly and helpful. You are not only seeing the tourist attractions but you are seeing the town in a very intimate and interesting way. We highly recommend Daniel and his tours to know the real Valparaiso. And, finishing the day with a glass of wine and a view of the beautiful winery was a perfect finish to a great tour.

A beautiful day in Valparaiso with a great guide! - Daniel was absolutely energetic, passionate about his country, and very accommodating to my partner and I from start to end. The tour started a half hour late due to traffic, but he was very communicative with updates leading up to picking us up to start our tour which I really appreciated. He had a lot of knowledge and he did his research of where we are from so was able to relate. I enjoyed the areas he took us in Valparaiso. He knew just about everyone in every place we stopped at by name... and even the local animals! What was different from all the other Valparaiso tours is he offers a short boat ride for a different perspective of the town including getting a closer look at other interesting ships/boats. It was refreshing and a good change from being in the car. Since we started a bit late and had a lot of traffic, the last place Daniel was able to get us to was Vina Del Mar winery and we had a nice glass of sparkling wine before they closed. I usually take a lot of pics, but thanks to Daniel he took many great photos for us throughout the day which allowed me to enjoy being there in the moment. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Progressive Tours / Daniel.

You get to know a lot about Valparaiso and Chile - Appeared that I was accidentally an only person on that day. Most of agencies would have cancelled the tour, but Daniel did not. I got treated very personally. He is very knowledged and sets the street art and architecture into the historical and social context. It is not only going to the places, but also understanding, how we have reached there. I am more than sure, that most tour operators do not do that. And Daniel really knows the artist, e.g. when I went to the art shop and not the one he suggested, people knew him. Also he is interested in other cultures, this kind of reflects that one is enjoying what is doing. If you want to go for the best, this is the one!

Valparaiso tour - fantastic ! - I researched all the tours to Valparaiso thoroughly and decided upon Progressive Tours as I wanted a more intimate, authentic tour and to spend more time in Valparaiso. Also, none of the other tours seemed to offer a boat ride. We had a really great day stopping at the fish market first which was vibrant and right on the beach…we saw sea lions at the pier which was pretty cool. Valparaiso itself is completely unique and we really loved it. Daniel was so informative and passionate, and the street art and the views were truly impressive. It’s a very special place and I’m really glad we got to spend the extra time there. This tour would appeal to anyone….How could you not appreciate all the interesting and amazing street art while walking the colorful streets of Valparaiso and admiring the architecture. The boat tour at the end was also really great as it was so interesting to not only see the workings of the port, but gain another perspective of Valparaiso. On the way home, we stopped in the Casablanca Valley for a short wine tasting, which was the perfect way to end the day.. the winery was stunning. We didn’t do the navel museum but that was fine with us as it meant we had more time in Valparaiso town. I highly recommend this tour…it costs a bit more than some of the others but is definitely worth every cent !

Amazing Guide and Experience. Must Do for Anyone Visiting Chile! - Daniel was an amazing guide to take you around Valparaiso and the surrounding regions. We began the trip with lots of detailed history and background on Chile and the Valparaiso region and Daniel was very knowledgeable and also entertaining! He was able to make the best of a day with terrible weather, and work to find different ways to keep us out of the rain while still getting the full experience. The tour really shined when we got to Valparaiso. Daniel seemed to know about every one of the beautiful murals and their respective artists and was excellent at showing us around the city. The street art is the highlight of Valparaiso and it is unlike any other city in the world. On top of knowing everything about the art Daniel knew all of the locals in town including the local street dogs! Overall, this was an amazing experience and should be a must do tour for anyone visiting Chile.
