Great tour! Valparaiso, Casablanca and quick overview of Santiago - Julio was an amazing guide! Excellent information on the area, tailored the tour to adjust for weather, closures (on a Sunday), and suggested additional stops within our timeframe. Needed to get from our cruise to our hotel in Santiago and this was perfect. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent experience - Transfer and Valparaiso tour was organized excellent! The tour guide Vale Fdez Prada and her driver picked us up from Valparaiso port. She is very knowledgeable tour guide. She introduced us to beautiful Valparaiso murals, gave us overview about city, port, center, Vila Del Mar. The transfer from Valparaiso to our hotel in Santiago went smooth and enjoyable. Recommend this company.

Amazing Tour - We were picked up from the cruise terminal by our guide Sofi at 8:30am. We had to wait around for approx an hour before the remaining members of the tour turned up. It was slightly annoying having to wait for the other people to turn up but this is down to their poor time keeping. We were then taken for a walking tour around Valparaiso before stopping off to see Sea Lion at the coast. This was an added bonus as we had missed the opportunity to see them during the cruise. We stopped at a few more tourist spots before being taken to a local restaurant for lunch. Food was really good and for 2 main meals and 2 cocktails it came to around £40, which we thought was reasonable for the quality. We finished the tour with a stop at a vineyard for a wine tasting before being dropped off at our hotel in Santiago at around 5pm. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and it was so much better than any tours that we went on with our cruise ship (Celebrity). Sofi was excellent and was one of the best tour guide we had during our trip to South America. She was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Valparaiso and the surrounding areas.

Good way to get from cruise to Santiago, a few minor issues - Nice overview of Valparaiso. Excellent lunch at Chez Gerard in Vina Del Mar. The wine tasting was not what we expected, and therefore somewhat disappointing. Our tour group of 4 couples who had never met before the tour was told to pick white or red, that it was not possible to do both. We agreed to red but unrealistic to expect that a group of strangers would be forced to one choice. And then it wasn’t even a selection of reds. The one wine we tasted was quite nice but I’ve never been to a wine tasting that consisted of a winery simply opening a bottle, offering a little background, and then leaving it on the table. My husband asked if it was possible to see the vineyard itself, and was told no. Not a good way to sell your product. Although our guide answered any questions about the landscape etc on the way to Santiago, it would have been nice if she had volunteered some information.

Tour of Valparaiso - Valparaiso was an unexpected experience. Once we were off the shuttle and started walking around it was a very pleasant experience. The art work on the buildings were incredible. Pleasantly surprised.

Lovely area… so so tour. - Ours was a half and half. Good and not so good. We waited over an hour to meet our tour. We had been told 7:30 , then our ticket said 8:00 and we later realized an email was sent that morning that moved the time to 8:30. Not good communication. But we connected and went on our way. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. However her itinerary kept changing what we were doing, when we were doing it and where exactly we were going. It felt a little disconnected. She left us during lunch and left for quite awhile leaving us to hang around the restaurant and waterfront for her to return. Overall we enjoyed the day, were delivered to our hotel and had a nice time. But there were times we were not sure all would be well. Not the most professionally organized tour, but maybe they are in a transitional period. I am sure with more experience it will improve.

Disappointed - Valentina was very nice but trip was a bit disappointing. Very uncomfortable van with tight seats making it difficult not to bump your knees, and I’m short. Van under airconditioned. Wine tasting consisted of one bottle of wine between 6 people. I am used to a wine tasting to be several types of wine. I was just glad to get to my hotel and put the day behind me.

Delayed Tour - The info on the tour requested we leave the ship and be at the van by 8 am . Of the 16 people on the cruise only 12 were there on time however we ended up waiting for the 4 other folks for 2 hours and finally left the dock for the tour after 10 am. The first part of the tour was interrupted by a city marathon race by the ocean. Block roads meant we missed location to visit. The driver and guide were good though and I would just suggest that if the van is going to wait up to 2 hours for guests that this be clearly stated in the advertisement.

Long difficult walk and little info - We are a group of older ladies and various mobility issues. We were to walk down a few stairs and take the funicular. The first one was closed. The required us to walk more stairs and on uneven pavement and cobblestones to another Funicular that was closed due to low energy. This required more stairs and uneven pavement and cobblestones. One of our ladies missed the entire tour (sat with the driver) and the rest of us were having lots of issues with the walking surfaces. The tour guide, Sofi, was kind, but we didn't get much information. As we passed one large home that was turned into a museum, Sofi barely mentioned it. There was another guide with a group and he was telling them about the original owner and how/why it became a museum. Sofi talked about some of the area when we first began our descent, but after the second closed Funicular, didn't add a lot to what we were seeing.

Tour ruined - Our tour guide Stephanie was excellent. So was Jorge, our driver. But we had to wait two hours to start the tour. Two families arrived two hours late. The people in the tour didn't speak spanish so I spoke to Stephanie if there was anything they could do. A number started calling my wife's phone and it was Jaime, the owner. He insulted her and didn't let her say two sentences. She was in tears. The trip was ruined. If you book this tour be prepared to wait 2 hours.
