Excellent City Tour - We took this amazing full day tour. It was a very good value. A highlight was the fish market which we reached by tram. Another highlight was the street art. The photo opportunities were endless! Our guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting commentary. If you want a picture of life in Valparaiso, this tour is for you and highly recommended.

Such a fun and different type of tour - We like local walking tours and Cristian certainly delivered. We walked the streets he grew up in and he shared stories of his life. We went on four transit systems and bought lunch at a great restaurant he suggested. Shopped a bit, stopped where we wanted and places he suggested. You won’t regret booking him.

A don’t miss tour if in Valparaiso - À guided tour using all the local types of public transport that we would never have tried in our own. Such an original experience and fun! Small group and and a great choice of restaurant for lunch with a fabulous view over the city. Our guide Paula was informative, friendly and professional. Highlight among many great insights was probably the lively fish market!

BetterThan Most - My wife and I really enjoyed this walking tour with funicular, bus and rail transportation included. However, The best part of this tour was the a-la-carte lunch because we can decide what and how much food and drink to order individually unlike most tours with meals where the food is always a disappointment. A shout-out to Christian. The tour was well organized, never felt rushed and plenty of time for a meal in a nice restaurant. : ) : ) : )

Great, highly immersive, experience in “Valpo” - Paula hosted me like a family member visiting her hometown. As a native “porteña” her pride in, and extensive knowledge of, the city was evident.

best tour I've ever taken! - In many years of traveling, this was the best tour I have ever been on!! If you are in Valpo and don't spend a day exploring with Paula, you are missing out. It is such a treat to be welcomed into a beautiful and unique city by a true Porteño who has such a genuine love for all it offers. Paula went above and beyond for us, inviting us to discover and taste local foods at the market, admire gorgeous murals and then later meet their artists, and so much more. Paula, thank you for sharing your stories and your city—we had SUCH a fun day exploring with you, and we miss our BFF&E already! <3

A day well-spent navigating Valparaiso! - Our friendly, welcoming and relaxed guide efficiently shepherded our group on and off the subway, minibusses and ascensores en route to and through the fish market, then to and into the twists and turns in Cerros Concepcion and Allegre. Thanks for the great commentary, for making a reservation in advance for lunch (delicious), and for accommodating our different interests and walking paces.

Perfect! - Great communication; notified us immediately of change in meeting time. Small group of eleven plus the tour guide Christian. He took us to the places of his childhood; even took us to his office/wife’s art studio. She presented us with local food and we got to meet his son. Christian’s love of his country, his city, and his family was very evident. His knowledge of the area was remarkable. He shared his information with passion and humor. We experienced the local train, bus, trolley, and three vernaculars (cable cars). At times the inclines and steps were a challenge but he always encouraged us to go slow. He kept reminding us that his goal was to get us back alive! Do yourself a fat and “tour like a local “.

Outstanding local tour - The visit to the fish market, riding in the funiculars, street art, and the perspective from a local who grew up in the neighborhood we were visiting were all highlights of the tour.
