Superb - Absolutely amazing experience. The team at White Shark Projects are fantastic. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and a beautiful breakfast followed by a quick/simple briefing.
From stepping foot on the boat to arriving back on land was first class service. Back at the cabin we had a hot shower and freshened up then settled down to a warm bowl of homemade soup, toasties, fresh fruit and hot/cold beverages. Definitely recommend this trip it was amazing.

Great day with big sharks 🤩 - A great day we have seen and photographed huge sharks. Unfortunately there was no white one. But that was not the goal either. Service was very important . Great team thanks for the nice day 🤗

Amazing - From arrival to the finish this was an amazing trip. Breakfast was provided at the start. Good briefing about what to expect. Then out to sea. Plenty of reassurance from the crew. Saw plenty of sharks close up. On return hot shower and soup provided. 10 out of 10

Very good experience - They're all great!! We did it at 7 am and we were given breakfast, explained very well everything we had to do at all times. On the boat there was a marine biologist who explained details about the area where we were going and about the shark species that were there. There were three groups of six people. The experience was awesome. On the way back we got a soup and a sandwich. I would definitely recommend it.

Half-Day White Shark Cage Diving from Gansbaai
Gansbaai, South Africa
Fintastic!
October 2024
Such a dream come true for us to visit South Africa and it didn't dissapoint, theres so much to do! We all wanted to go shark cage diving and found a brochure at the airport after landing.
White Shark Projects are the company we chose and we were so looked after from the moment we booked, keeping us informed of pick up time from our hotel and getting us from there to Kleinbaai Harbour where their boat launches. Can't fault their customer service at all. The drive there gave us a chance to see some more of the country too which was cool.
All of the staff were so welcoming on arrival and gave us a nice breakfast before our pre sea briefing. This set our minds at rest, as we were not sure how to get in the cage.
The journey out to where the sharks are was stunning, past mountains along the coastline. We got to see a Whale and it's baby too! The Sharks arrived fairly quickly after we arrived. They were so beautiful and graceful to watch and getting in the cage was easy and safe. The view of the Sharks from the boat was good but the underwater experience was awesome!.. The crew were so helpful and taught us lots about Shark conservation, there's no doubting that these guys know their stuff.
We were out for around 2 hours I'd say and had such a great time. When we got back we had soup and a toasted sandwich back at their lodge and a nice hot shower.
I can't recommend White Shark Projects enough, they clearly really care about their clients, the sharks and the environment.
Thanks!

I recommend - I enjoyed the trip a lot. We didn't see any great white but we did see two other kinds. I felt safe and appreciated the communication along the way. The food was great and the warm shower was delightful.

A very worthwhile day and well organised - It’s a long day from Cape Town, 8am until 6pm, but very worthwhile. The communication and transport is very well organised, with messages on WhatsApp with clear arrangements. Although breakfast is provided at Gaansbai, you won’t arrive until around 11am, so suggest eating prior to pick up. Lunch is also provided after the tour.
The boat ride is only about 10 minutes, and very professionally managed with experienced crew. All equipment provided on board.
Hannah is very knowledgable about shark conservation, and answered many questions.
We saw loads of bronze sharks and had about 20 minutes down in the cage.
I feel the companies that run these tours still market themselves around Great Whites, but with little or no chance of seeing them, so maybe time for a rethink given the obvious scarcity of the species?
Overall, a great day, and great value. I would recommend.

Visiting the sharkssssss - Excelent receiption @ 11:30, follow with a breakfast. Introduction and a safety pre-sea demonstration.
12:30 heading to the boot and to open sea waters.
We have in tree groups of 6 people, but that was a bit small in the cage.
Your are about 20 a 25 minutes in de seawater. (Sinutis was flushed away and directly gone 👍) And we see 4 white sharks and a small “baby”, and some other sea live.
14:30 we are back in the office with soup koffie tosti’s muffins etc for a lunch.
