Highlights

The touring carriages depart from the newly built and custom-designed departure station right next to the information booth for Stanley Park, overlooking Coal Harbour and the downtown core of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia.

The friendly and knowledgeable guide narrates the tour while traveling along Park Drive, overlooking the Seawall and the ocean. Go past the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and Deadman’s Island, also known as the HMCS Discovery, a Royal Canadian Navy Reserve. The ride includes a 5-minute stop at the famous totem poles. Feel free to get out and capture some great photos of this popular site.

The next stop is at the famous Girl in a Wetsuit Statue and the Empress of Japan Figurehead. Then the ride continues on the north side of Stanley Park with views towards North Vancouver and the Lions Gate Bridge, a suspension bridge that crosses the first narrows of Burred Inlet, connecting the City of Vancouver.

Relaxing way to see Stanley Park - Wonderful time with relaxing tour through Stanley Park. Old school horse drawn ride made it special. Tour guide was pleasant and informative. Totally worth it but don't be in a hurry and enjoy the trip.

Really good experience at Stanley Park! - Our driver, Hal, and our horses, Lonny and Bill, were terrific! Hal was remarkably knowledgeable about the history of Stanley Park and was quite kind and gracious. We would enjoy another outing like this one!

Unusual & Fun - We heard a lot of history from an engaging host. Loved the horses - Wesson & Bigger. Going on a horse trolley was an interesting way to view various parts of Stanley Park & learn a bit history.

Fabulous ride in the park! - Our driver was fabulous. She knew her history. She was very informative and gave us the best information out of any of the other tour guides that we had taken throughout the city. Highly recommend this tour as it was relaxing, informative, and most importantly fun.
