Highlights
  • Stanley Park - Begin the day with a hotel pickup in a comfortable minibus/SUV. The group will drive through Stanley Park, which is a 405-hectare public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. The park has a long history and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city.
  • Lions Gate Bridge - The group will drive over a prominent Vancouver landmark, the Lion’s Gate Bridge, a 5,890-foot (1,823-meter) bridge that offers unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbor, English Bay, and beyond.
  • Grouse Mountain - Rising 1,250 metres (4,100 feet) above Vancouver and just 15 minutes from the city’s downtown core, is the vast alpine playground of Grouse Mountain. The iconic Red Skyride gives visitors and locals alike the opportunity to see the jaw-dropping majestic nature of B.C. unfold in front of them during the 8 minute ride from the Valley Station to the summit. As Vancouver’s most popular attraction, Grouse Mountain is the only truly four-season destination in the lower mainland and features a wildlife refuge, vast selection of dining options, thrilling outdoor adventure, in the summertime, walk along the mountain top meadows and witness the world-famous Lumberjack show. Visit Grinder and Coola, two resident grizzly bears and enjoy a ‘Birds in Motion’ demonstration at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife. Attend a movie at the ‘Theatre in the Sky’ before heading back. The best in local snow sports…and much more. One thing is for certain: there is no place quite like the Peak of Vancouver.
  • Capilano Suspension Bridge Park - Next, head over to a world-famous foot bridge, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the surrounding temperate rainforest and to learn the traditions of the Coast Salish indigenous people. Then the group will be guided across the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river. Climb onto the canopy and walk through the Treetop Adventure walkway high above the canyon and river below.

For those seeking a more thrilling experience, try the ‘Cliffwalk’, the newest attraction at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. This adrenaline-pumping journey travels through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways built out from the granite cliff face to give the group access to unexplored territories of the park.

Grouse mountain and suspension bridge - Our guide was excellent, timing our arrival at the parks to best navigate the crowds. The parks are beautiful, lots to see and do. Enjoyed this tour very much.

Fun! - Our tour guide was great and I loved the small group size. We had fewer than 10 people in our group. The guide was thoughtful enough to have bottles waters and umbrellas if anyone needed them. The weather was drizzly and overcast so we didn’t get any views on Grouse Mountain, but we were still able to see the bird show and the bears, so it was worthwhile. Given the weather, the time was sufficient, but had it been better weather, I could easily see spending longer at each place. We had about 1-1.5 hrs at each place.

A 'must do' tour in Vancouver - Sorry no photos a I am writing this review at the airport but what FABULOUS tour we had. Our tour guide, Yev was awesome - arrived bright and early to collect us from the hotel (two adults and 17yr old son) and provided interesting commentary and information along the way. First stop was the Capilano Suspension Bridge - just awesome and a picture perfect spot in nature. Then onto Grouse Mountain and while the whole alpine mountain place is magical to experience, nothing compares to witnessing the magnificent bears - just perfection. Loved it!!!

Capilino was awesome - I loved this tour. The Capilano bridge is beautiful. The Cliffwalk is a must. I would go back. Grouse Mountain was nice but once is enough. The view at the top is spectacular. Our tour guide, Chris, told us she was new to this company and did a great job. She guided us through the different venues and made sure we so everything. One if the families in our group was 15+ minutes later getting to the designated meeting spot and she was patient and cordial with them. The only negative was the tour says it is 5 hours but the schedule that Chris was given was for a 4 hour tour. With the family being Kate, it turned out to be 4.5 hours.

Great trip cut way to short. - Visiting the park and taking the gondola to the top of the mountain was an excellent experience, not having enough time at each site was disappointing. 1. We were picked up a little early and then had to waiting to wait 45 mins and attempt to pick up 10 other guests twice at cruise ship terminal then having and 2. Then stopping the trip an hour early to get one of the 10 to the airport was a little inappropriate in my opinion. Which cause our tour to be rushed. I do not hold the 10 responsible as they believed they had a private tour.

Capilano Bridge & Grouse Mtn - The tour was very interesting and fun. The tour guide was great. He wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. He had a lot of informative information. He was proud of the country and what he did. He just earned his citizenship.
