Vancouver is a great city! - We came to Vancouver CA to visit our neighbors to the north and get to know the city a little bit. This walking tour is a great way to do this and to interact with a knowledgeable local guide.

Daniel was the best tour guide - Due to the cold weather, only a few people turned up for this tour. But it made it so much better and personal! Daniel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. The list he provided for extra recommendations was so good. I am staying with my friend who lives in Vancouver and they did not know about some of the hidden gems on his list! Would happily recommend him to anyone visiting Vancouver!

3 hour walking tour of Vancouver - Daniel has a LOT of knowledge about Vancouver. He is very friendly and easy to understand. We especially liked the Marine Building.

Fantastic introduction to Vancouver - We rarely do organised tours but we are so glad we did this one. Our guide Reidwan was excellent - personable, knowledgable, enthusiastic and charming. We especially loved the Marine Building, which we probably wouldn't have visited on our own, and learning about Terry Fox, who we (ignorantly) had never heard of. The pace and the group size were both perfect. We seemed to cover a lot of territory but it was really all within a few blocks. We loved this tour and would absolutely recommend it.

Preferred Stanley Park Biking Tour - Combination of Vancouver history and building history tour. Good walking pace. Stopped for quick coffee and bathroom break. Large group of 13. Erik’s was well spoken. I also did their bike tour of Stanley park, which I much preferred. Covered more ground with bike and got similar Vancouver history.

It was a good walking... - It was a good walking tour; learned some things. There should be more attention given to First Nations presence and contribution.

Great Tour but Questionable Ethics - So I have a bit of a mixed review since I really liked my tour but wouldn't recommend the company. The tour guide was very good. They kept a good pace, delivered a decent amount of information, were able to answer pretty much all the questions the group had, and remained engaged throughout. But here's my problem with the "free tour." Obviously, nobody should look at this as a free tour. Tips are expected and the recommended amount is certainly reasonable. But here's the problem - what they're calling a tip isn't actually a tip as most of us understand the term. If you go to a restaurant and you leave a tip, 100% goes to the staff. On a Toonie Tour, that's not what happens - a portion goes to the company. How much? Who knows. If Toonie Tours was upfront with their pricing and they charged the "recommended" tip amount, I'd be leaving a 5 star review. But they're not remotely transparent and that sucks.
