Mandatory tour in Vancouver - It is hard to describe the beauty and peace that this place has. With samples of vegetation from all over the world, the botanical garden is a must-see for those who visit Vancouver. Highlight for the beauty of the place as a whole and for the labyrinth. I found super cool

Beeoootiful Van Dusen - Beautiful gardens with many different themes. Allow at least 2 hours and will probably not get to all of it.

Nice Garden - Nice place to walk around and see some old trees and different plants! Was quite busy with weddings as they have multiple venues. This did not cause any problems

Pretty gardens with a wide variety of trees and flowers. - It was reasonably easy to get to via public transport. The gardens are a pretty good walk to get to the further areas. The Hedge Maze is at the far end and is fun to do. There is a nice cafe for lunch.

Tom N "The Garden in August" - We thoroughly enjoyed the VanDusen Botancial Garden in Mid-August. It was close to downtown Vancouver, BC. Our self guided tour was good, plus there were experts walking around the garden that could answer our few questions. Great value. Great Experience. Mid-August had the hydrangeas and other flowers in full blume. But, the July flowers were past there peak. Someday we will revisit in the month of July.

Serene, calming green space - Beautiful park. We didn’t know it cost an entry fee until we got there so we were happy to find it on Viator. The park is fairly large. Lots of green space. We came in September so there weren’t a ton of flowers. It’s a very serene and calming atmosphere. Loved all the ponds and water falls. The issue we had was that the only washroom is in the visitor center at the entrance. So if you get to the other side of the park and have to use the restroom, you have to get all the way back to the beginning again and exit then ask to go back in. There should be at least one more bathroom at the other end of the park.

Garden looks unkempt and neglected in parts - After being in Queen Elizabeth Park (beautiful, well-kept and lovingly planted flower beds, except for the Conservatory free park), we were unfortunately disappointed by the Van Dusen Botanical Garden. The beds seemed partly unkempt, partly neglected. It was also felt that the planting sites were not always suitable for the plants. Parts of the garden were also blocked by a film shoot. Many of the signs were no longer legible, as bleached or very dirty. Overall, I have seen much more lovingly and skillfully landscaped botanical gardens. Only everyone can decide for themselves whether this justifies the entrance fee.

Fair for a wander but not spectacular in September … - Probably unfair to visit these gardens after the Butchant Gardens as by comparison the wonder of colour and high levels of maintenance is lacking. Ok for a wander and it’s very cheap to enter but seems like a city garden lacking love. Would we return? no

Memorable garden with a memorable story - The QR code was is a clear picture image, but not working-the young lady on cash tried a few times to scan it without success; I wound up paying her for two adults and two seniors one more time. I would like a refund on my four Viator tickets; I have already formally asked for a refund and am looking forward to a reply from customer service.
