Gorgeous gardens and terrific tour guides - My partner and I visited the VanDusen gardens in early October of 2024. We had a lovely tour of the gardens thanks to our amazing guide Marsha! We loved hearing her tell stories about the different plants and trees from different parts of the world. The garden is organized in such a special way, and we would be elated to return in the future! I was particularly impressed with the new children's exhibit/programming they were working on.

A journey through nature’s paradise - The fall trees were so beautiful and you can see squirrels running around. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this garden is a must-visit. I left feeling refreshed and inspired—already looking forward to my next visit!

Great garden with a lot to see - We loved walking around the garden and were there most of the day. We loved taking our time and experiencing all the trails and things to see and do here. Our kids loved the hedge maze and bridges and water features. We didn't feel crowded at all as there it plenty of space to move around and enjoy the park alone. The gift shop was nice but mainly for adults. The restaurant was good and we enjoyed some lunch outside on the patio. The garden was well cared for and manicured yet wild in some places. Beautiful experience in nature!

Harvest Days/Fall visit - I really enjoyed my visit to VanDusen Botanical Garden! Plantings and beds were well-maintained and I appreciated the labels, as well. The gardens really showcase a wide variety of plant species grouped by eco-regions and exceeded my expectations in all areas! Harvest Days displays, exhibits and vendors really added to the experience. I highly recommend a visit.

Mandatory tour in Vancouver - It is hard to describe the beauty and peace that this place has. With samples of vegetation from all over the world, the botanical garden is a must-see for those who visit Vancouver. Highlight for the beauty of the place as a whole and for the labyrinth. I found super cool

Excellent place to walk and talk with family - It is a must for Vancouver, I highly recommend it for after breakfast, you can do an excellent hike to enjoy. The reason why it is rated very good and not excellent, is because some small sections do not have adequate maintenance.

Pretty gardens with a wide variety of trees and flowers. - It was reasonably easy to get to via public transport. The gardens are a pretty good walk to get to the further areas. The Hedge Maze is at the far end and is fun to do. There is a nice cafe for lunch.

Garden is nice but disappointed with Viator support - Went during fall so not many flowers but it's big and nice walk. We were very disappointed that our viator rewards were not utilised, which should be automatically deducted at checkout. Checked with support team and was told the booking currency was different from our viator awards. Requested for rectification for such technical issues but was told they were unable to amend as booking was done less than 24 hours.

Serene, calming green space - Beautiful park. We didn’t know it cost an entry fee until we got there so we were happy to find it on Viator. The park is fairly large. Lots of green space. We came in September so there weren’t a ton of flowers. It’s a very serene and calming atmosphere. Loved all the ponds and water falls. The issue we had was that the only washroom is in the visitor center at the entrance. So if you get to the other side of the park and have to use the restroom, you have to get all the way back to the beginning again and exit then ask to go back in. There should be at least one more bathroom at the other end of the park.
