- We leave Vancouver and head south traversing the city and rural farmlands before reaching the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, the proceeding point for the BC Ferries.
- Embark on a 90-minute sea journey to Vancouver Island. Around 40 minutes in, we enter the Active Pass and traverse the Southern Gulf Islands, a favorite holiday destination for locals.
- Upon reaching Victoria’s Inner Harbour, we start sightseeing. We’ll visit key locations starting from Mile O, followed by Ogden Point, Fisherman’s Wharf, the Empress Hotel and Historic Chinatown, which features the renowned Fan Tan Alley and shops. Afterwards, enjoy spare time to explore on your own or partake in any of our optional activities. Regardless of your reasons for visiting Victoria today, our guide stands ready to provide top restaurant, brewery, shop and hidden gem recommendations.
- Visit the Butchart Gardens - a National Historic Site sprawled over 55 acres and home to over 900 plant species.
- In the evening we journey back to the Mainland and you get to experience the splendid views from the outer decks of the ferry. If you’re fortunate, you could spot whales from the ferry’s outdoor deck.
- Upon reaching the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal, our coach disembarks from the ferry and we return to Vancouver, arriving around 9:30 pm.

Victoria, British Columbia’s capital, is situated on the breathtaking Vancouver Island and is recognized as one of the most picturesque cities globally. It is renowned for its iconic Empress Hotel, Parliament buildings, and the mesmerizing Butchart Gardens. The journey from Vancouver involves a scenic ferry trip from the Vancouver mainland, traversing the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From here, a guided road journey to Victoria and through the city center is arranged, including visits to the Fisherman’s Wharf, the Inner Harbour, The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Mile 0 and the historic Chinatown. Some leisure time to discover downtown Victoria independently is also provided. The trip then proceeds to the world-famous Butchart Gardens, exhibiting 55 acres of various garden themes, such as a Japanese Garden, Italian Garden, and Rose Garden. The day concludes with the picturesque return sail on BC Ferries, and finally, the return to your tour’s starting point.
- Anyone 16 or younger must have a parent or guardian travel on the trip with them.
- Guests 17-18 years of age may travel on the trip without a parent or guardian but MUST have one present on the departure day to sign the waiver forms held by the tour guide.

Long but very satisfying day - Ian was our guide and driver. Genuine passion for his country and BC in particular and very capable driver. Who doesn’t love ‘dad jokes’ good clean fun kept us in good spirits on a long day. Victoria and Butchard Gardens are really beautiful .
Ian arranged a wheelchair for my wife at Butchard which made - thank you

Great Day’s sightseeing with a great guide/driver - Our tour was lucky to have Matthew as our driver/guide, who made a long day of driving and sightseeing enjoyable. He had us laughing with his quick wit and comments about life living in BC and shared so many entertaining stories of Vancouver, Victoria and the Butchart Gardens. You didn’t need any brochures when it came to Matthew as he knew his stuff and made it interesting to listen to.

Long Day but Worth It! - This is a long day and we knew that up front. It is so primarily because of the 1.5 hour ferry ride each way. Tour guide Rene was perhaps the best tour guide we've had on any tour anyplace - personal, funny, informative, loves what he does. Right amount of time given to explore Victoria on our own and have a leisurely lunch vs. time touring on the bus. Also, a right amount of time at Butchart Gardens (and they have a place that sells gelato).

Brilliant day - My wife and I had a really enjoyable tour of Victoria and Butchart Gardens with our driver / guide Meghan. The tour replaced another tour to Vancouver Island cancelled due to insufficient numbers, but was well worth the switch. Meghan was friendly, informative and entertaining and a great day was had by all.

VICTORIA VOYAGE - Wonderful tour that really allowed us to experience Victoria & Butchart Gardens. Our driver and guide, Bernie, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. Would have loved even more time in Victoria, will have to return one day. Bus was very comfortable. The ferry was very efficient and clean. An absolutely wonderful day. Highly recommend!

Great overall visit to Vancouver & Victoria - Awesome ferry ride with beautiful scenery of the islands. Butchart Garden was spectacular. A must see. There is so much to see around every corner. We were in awe the whole visit. A wonderful day to get to know the area.

Great day out. - We were guests yesterday on the tour to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. It was a long day but definitely worth it. The guide was friendly and very informative. It was a small group tour which was great. The ferry to Vancouver Island takes approximately 90 minutes. We did a quick drive to see the important sites of Victoria and then had 2 and a half hours free time which gave us time to wander around and also had afternoon at the Empress Hotel which was great. We then drive to Butchart Gardens which were beautiful. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Victoria Tour - The tour description needs more detail. The majority of time is spent in a big ferry with tons of people and then in a van to drive you around. The time spent in Victoria was about 2 hours. Just enough time to get lunch and barely walk around. Butchardt Gardens are beautiful yet again it takes hours to finally get there. Ian was our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable. He tells a few too many jokes.
Last time we visited Victoria, we took the sea plane. We would go that way again instead of the ferry and tour bus.
