Sea to sky gondola is a must see. Whistler is a tourist trap to be avoided at all costs - Actually went with Grayline tours. Good day out with a charismatic guide who was very passionate and knowledgeable. Driver was safe and efficient. Sea to sky gondola was magnificent and totally worth while - could have done with at least another 30 minutes up here if not an hour - brilliant attraction. As for Whistler? Simply don’t bother. If you like tourist traps with little other than average food stops and tacky gift shops then this is the place for you. If not avoid like the plague and find another way to get to the sea to sky gondola. This will save you a great deal of wasted time (circa 4 hours) as well I suspect a chunk of change. The stops at the lookout and the falls on the way home are pleasing but not worth travelling all the way up to Whistler for the excuse to drop in on the way home and in fact the falls is very close to the gondola so could perhaps be combined here. Whistler is grossly over rated out of season and I recommend not bothering (in case you have not already got that message!) .

Great trip, pity about the weather. - Our guide for the day was Shiloh. A very friendly guy with lots of entertaining facts about himself and what we would see on the trip. We were picked up right on time at the allotted meeting point. First stop was the magnificent Shannon falls just before Squamish, they are breathtaking, I could have watched them all day. Next was the sea to sky gondola, unfortunately the weather didn’t play ball and the visibility at the top was dismal. We made the most of it, walking the suspension bridge a few times and a hot drink in the cafe. The main stop of the day was Whistler. We went a hike to the lost lake and back, had a walk round the Olympic park, and browsing through the shops. There are plenty of places to eat and drink here. On the way back we stopped at Alexander falls and the beautiful Howe sound for comfort stops and photo opportunities. It was getting late when we returned to Vancouver, this is a long day but absolutely worth doing. Thanks Shiloh for an amazing day.

Rene - Fantastic day out. Everything I expected. We even saw a black bear. Host Rene was awesome. Rene was not only funny and inclusive to us all, he was very knowledgeable about the area and all sorts of things. He was able to create a bond against us passengers. We shared lunch with passengers from Amsterdam and Singapore and met a lovely couple from England. Thanks Rene

Whistler Sea to Sky, a tour not to be missed - Did this tour yesterday and had an absolute ball. We were blessed to have a sunny day which matched our driver's (Rhandi) lovely disposition. Rhandi was helpful and knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and went out of her way for us all to have a good time. Not only was the tour fantastic for views and experience, I'm grateful Rhandi would give us inside knowledge of our activities that would enhance the experience. On top of the mountain from the gondola, after walking the suspension bridge, my husband and I did the Panorama and Wonderland lake trails as recommended by Rhandi and thoroughly enjoyed them. Great photo opportunities if you like that sort of thing. Did more 'steps' this day than any other on my holiday! Thought Whistler village was pretty and had lunch at Earl's which was enjoyable but nothing to write home about. In hindsight, I think I would have preferred the brewery which did $5 cocktails for 'happy hour'. Had plenty of time to peruse the shops and it pays to look around as the prices for products varied considerably. One hoodie was 'on sale' at one shop for $50 whilst at another it was $35. All in all, a great experience, especially if you have Rhandi as your guide.

Whistle up to Whistler - Pick-up was in front of Canada Place so no hardship to find. Our bus driver/tour guide who's name escapes me was first class in knowledge and driving. Stopped on the way at the Sea and Sky gondola and mountain. Whistler is a great place but really for the trendy youngsters. However well worth the visit.

Good service - I know it’s a bit late, but I would love to rate this trip. My husband and I went on a tour bus to see Vancouver. Our tour guide, Leslie, was excellent; he explained everything about Vancouver, Canada. He was terrific and knowledgeable. I enjoyed our trip with my husband. Thank you, Leslie, for making our trip enjoyable and memorable you are amazing.

I think 1/2 hour more at... - I think 1/2 hour more at Shannon Falls and that much less in Whistler village would be better. There wasn’t a lot of time to use the bathroom and then climb to see the falls in the 25 minute stop. Our tour guide was friendly but she interjected far too much personal opinion/politics and low bar humour into the dialogue.

Great day out-Stunning scenery. - Fabulous day out to Whistler,Ian our guide was great, a real character & full of useful information.Dissappointed that the Culture centre in Whistler closed early so we couldn't sample the highly recommended Salmon Chowder.Enjoyed the Sea to Sky gondola too.Only gripe was the journey in the back seat of the bus was rough at times and a couple of bumps were really rough.
