Highly Recommend a visit to La Paz - We really enjoyed the La Paz water gardens . The toucans and hummingbird feeding stations next to the restaurant were two of the highlights. The gardens are beautiful and we also really enjoyed the walk down the series of waterfalls - these were particularly impressive because of the amount of rain that had been falling in the days (and hours infact) before. We had lunch on site which was reasonably priced and tasty. Overall we are really pleased we did this visit and highly recommend it - good value for money and the gardens were incredibly beautiful. Be aware that at the gift shop at the end of the waterfall walk many items do not have prices marked so ask before you buy.

Lovely way to spend a day! - Love the toucan house and the interaction with butterflies & hummingbirds! Everything was so beautifully landscaped and clean. We’re didn’t do the waterfall trail because we spent so much time on the animals!

Worth the walk - We took a guided tour of this attraction. It is an amazing hike. It will require you to be in shape but you don’t need to be an athlete to take the tour. Plenty of time for picture taking. Highly recommended.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park & Wildlife Refuge adventure - My review is more about the activity vs the tickets for entrance and parking that we paid for in advance. Regarding the tickets, when we arrived, the parking attendant seemed to be confused about the digital tickets as well as parking. Eventually, we were able to park. The park itself was fantastic and fascinating and well worth the long drive from La Fortuna. It contained various wild life to include a jaguar, wild cats, panthers, snakes, monkeys, sloths, various cockatoos, as well as butterflies, humming birds, frogs, various species of insects. To top it off, we walked to 3 different waterfalls. They had viewing platforms right next to each waterfall. An added bonus was they had 2 restaurants and a shuttle bus to take you back to the main building and parking lot after you finished the hike to the waterfalls and trails.

Amazing Waterfall Ealk - We booked through Aviator which saved a few bucks. There were only a handful of visitors while we were there. Walking through the toucans was cool as well as the butterflies and hummingbirds. The walk along the falls was amazing and we had each one to ourselves on this day. It is not for anyone with mobility issues for sure. We enjoyed this experience.
