Must do when visiting Costa Rica! - This is a must do if you visit Costa Rica! Everyone had a wonderful time, and we were able to see all the wildlife up close, not through a spotting scope. The hike was excellent, the animals were amazing, and the waterfalls were breathtaking. Everything was very safe and very well-maintained. The bridges and steps made it a very fun, unique and safe experience.

Magic moment - What a chance to enter the aviary in Toucans or the butterfly greenhouse without the other people is the great advantage of going there to the opening. The course of the waterfalls is sublime and the staff at the restaurant very welcoming. I recommend this activity especially with young children.

Waterfalls galore - The La Paz Waterfall Gardens were incredible. Definitely worth visiting. We enjoyed seeing all the different birds, butterflies and animals but the highlight for me was the waterfall trail. Absolutely gorgeous! Park is well maintained. I would visit if again.

Must see - Very well done park. A lot of attention to detail on making it a beautiful place to visit. Must do if staying near San Jose. Even the buffet lunch was good, and I'm not usually a fan of park food.

Highly Recommend a visit to La Paz - We really enjoyed the La Paz water gardens . The toucans and hummingbird feeding stations next to the restaurant were two of the highlights. The gardens are beautiful and we also really enjoyed the walk down the series of waterfalls - these were particularly impressive because of the amount of rain that had been falling in the days (and hours infact) before. We had lunch on site which was reasonably priced and tasty. Overall we are really pleased we did this visit and highly recommend it - good value for money and the gardens were incredibly beautiful. Be aware that at the gift shop at the end of the waterfall walk many items do not have prices marked so ask before you buy.

5 waterfalls minus 1 - Beautiful property. Lots of walking, don’t recommend for people with restricted mobility. There was no line to get in, so not sure if skip the line was worth the $, the only thing we skipped was bufet that was $17 pp. Parking was free.

Enjoyable afternoon. Wear good footwear and expect many, many stairs. d - I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5. It is $60/person, which we felt was pretty steep. the grounds are pretty. The animals appear to be well kept. We went out of our way to see the big cat feeding in the afternoon, but no one was there. Perhaps they cater to the bus tours and only do a public feeding when a group is there. The young caretaker of the frog exhibit was wonderful. He clearly loves his frogs and sharing them with guests. The water falls are beautiful!! And if I didn't live in the Finger Lakes region of New York State where there are many beautiful falls, I would have been more appreciative! The walk took alot out of me and my husband (he is a very active hiker, tennis player). The steps are damp and slippery so we were very careful on the steep stairs throughout the gardens. Our legs were really fatigued after an afternoooon. Enjoyable and an easy way to see alot of native animals.

Overrated and appalling animal conditions - Honestly I would not go to the peace waterfall again, overrated the worst of all the condition of the animals they have there, in super small cages for wild animals , the worst I saw in Costa Rica, the only rescueable thing are the waterfalls but honestly it would be a destination that I would skip if I had the opportunity, not worth it at all, better go straight to fortune and avoid this activity.
