After the sightseeing, you will have some free time for exploring more city on your own and grab a lunch in some local restaurant. After Varaždin, we continue towards the medieval castle of Trakoscan from 13th century. It’s the most popular and the most visited castle in Croatia, surrounded by beautiful lake and forest. It looks like a fairy tale castle!

The journey begins from a hotel in Zagreb. Following approximately 1.5 hours of travel, we will reach Varazdin. Our tour guide will introduce you to the city’s key sights and its historical center. After the guided tour, you’ll have some leisure time to further explore the city and have a meal at a local eatery. We then proceed to the 13th century Trakoscan castle, the most frequented and admired castle in Croatia, complete with admission tickets. It’s nestled amidst a picturesque lake and woods, resembling a castle out of a storybook! We will head back to Zagreb come evening time.
