Best guide to India! - Rakesh was for me the best guide of my stay in India. Caring and very friendly, he was also exciting in his history of Varanasi. I've learned a lot without ever being bored! He was also one of the only guides not to stop in shops or other fake plans as often in India. Frankly, top of top house, go for it

A memorable visit! - Our ride with Rakesh was great. We had little time in Varanasi and he made sure we could see everything during our stay in this city!!! In addition, he explained everything in impeccable French! Rakesh knows all the hidden places and the best viewpoints to eat, see the cremation sites and see the ceremonies. My father-in-law was sick and Rakesh was checking on him even after we left. We have a wonderful memory of our visit to Varanasi with Rakesh and highly recommend it.

"The" guide for your stay in Varanasi - 14 years later, I am back in Varanasi with the conviction that I must, this time, visit with a guide to better grasp the fascinating Benares. And I am now convinced that I made the right choice after spending a day with Rakesh, a native of Varanasi, who knows his city, its evolution, its history like his pocket and speaks impeccable French, with answers to all your questions. As he is known here as the white wolf, no one will come to disturb you, seeing you in his company, allowing you to visit serenely. And really it's a luxury! I was able to take the usual boat tour at dawn with explanation of each ghat, get lost in the maze of streets where even Google Maps loses its Latin and have various explanations along the alleys as to Hinduism, attend the cremations in Ghat Manikarnika out of sight while having an excellent vantage point and a clear and complete explanation, see some temples across the city and attend the evening Pujav ceremony out of the crowd. And all without ever asking you to go to any shopkeeper to sell you je ne sais quoi and always considerate with a bottle of cold water to offer you and worry that you did not suffer from the heat. In short, you will have understood... I recommend it +++
