The charm of Varanasi during the Diwali festival - We had a wonderful couple of days in Varanasi during the Diwali festival.
The city is charming and Neelesh was a very attentive and funny guide who taught us a lot about not only the city but also the fascinating Indian culture. We laughed and learned a lot with him.
Neelesh was so kind and attentive to us that we felt so sad when we said goodbye so soon to him. We hope to return to Varanasi one day and meet up again for a drink, a chat and to explore new aspects of the city.
We highly recommend contacting Pilgrimage Varanasi for your tour of this fascinating city!

Best Tour 💚✨🙏 - Neelesh is a professional tour guide. He took me to a 3 hour tour which included interesting history, temples, and of course some amazing street food of Varanasi.
Neelesh is kind, intelligent, and adjusting himself to the needs of the tourist, and full of useful tips.

Perfect Walking Tour - My wife and I went on a three hour walking tour with Neelesh - and it was perfect. We had just a few days in Varanasi and Neelesh took us around the crowded streets, pointing out the different historical landmarks, and providing context to the general scenery in the street, which can be a bit chaotic.
Neelesh also took the time to sit with us and answer any questions we had about Varanasi (or India in general), and provided great recommendations for restaurants and other things to do during our stay.
We normally don't hire guides while on vacation, but Varanasi is a city that can feel overwhelming and having someone like Neelesh to show us around was extremely helpful and fun.

Relaxing time with peace and quiet - We stayed at Taj Ganges hotel and attended a family wedding and it was great. However the weather was too hot so we couldn't visit the temple. We will return in winter and fulfill our wishes.

Tour of Varanasi was more than I could have imagined - I had an amazing tour with Neeleesh. My friend and I were only in Varanasi for a couple days so we thought it would be best to get a tour to truely understand and explore the place in this short amount of time and it honestly exceeded all expectations. It was very relaxing to be in Neeleesh’s company, he was lovely, funny and very knowledgeable. I’m very grateful for this experience and I highly recommend you do the same.

Great local tour of Varanasi 🙏👍 - If you want to get a local taste and wisdom of this special place called Varanasi, Neelesh is the guide to go to. He gave us amazing tour, answered all the questions we had plus showed us some hidden local gems. Definitely recommend! Two thumbs up 👍👍

A terrific guide, who, sadly often has to work for an unethical tour company - Neelesh is knowledgeable, personable, and a terrific guide. He and his family welcomed me into their home to celebrate Diwali, which was a memorable part of my trip. My only criticism was that the company that often hires him, Wild Frontiers, which hired him as my guide, promised me specific times with him, then breached their contract with me, instructing him to give my time to other, apparently preferred, customers. This meant that I was short changed in time and things i got to see every day. So if you hire Neelesh, make sure this does not happen.
