Great friendly guide - We had such an amazing time with Gudda. He made sure that we ere comfortable and taking care of the entire time. We had an incredible experience with Gudda in Varanasi. His deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and religious significance made the tour truly special. From navigating the bustling streets to providing insights into the rituals along the Ganges, he ensured every moment was both informative and meaningful. His passion for Varanasi’s heritage was clear, and their friendly, approachable nature made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether it was exploring hidden alleyways or witnessing the stunning evening Ganga Aarti, the guide made it unforgettable. I highly recommend them for anyone visiting this magical city.” Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!

Amazing experience - Placing a cobra around my neck, seeing the cremations, walking through the maze of old buildings. The Guide is very personable and goes way beyond the norm to please. Real good guy.

Nice boat trip alongside the ghats - The boat trip was well guided by Mr Lalit. He told me interesting stories about cremation about the old palaces along the Ganges. The stop at the Nandey tea shop was great and clean. The old town visit was a blend of experiences mixing History and walking in dirt and all sorts of Cow faeces. It was a good idea to complete the visit in the morning to avoid the heat. What was a bit disappointing is the kind of boat provided and the pick up - drop services. For INR 5300 , I was expecting a pick up car knowing that a ride from my hotel bearly cost INR. Also we had to change 3 times of boats. This also could have been avoided. I believe the tour company should review their standards. However Mr Lalit and his friend were very helpful and I reach my hotel safely .

Varanasi… well worth the visit. - Varanasi exudes energy from the moment you step from the train, the trick I now know is not to take on too much. Our tour guide Lalit was positive, helpful and flexible to adapt the three day tour as it unfolded. There were elements that left us feeling bemused as we were left on our own to try and make sense of a lengthy Aarti Ganga rooftop ceremony on our first night after a 04.30 start that day but the next day with another 04.30 start we explained our limitations and interests we revised the schedule and it became much more enjoyable.

Half day trip - Ganga Arti, boat ride and city walk (covering Kashi temple and Annapurni temple) - Hi-Molu is a professional with 30+year experience. He showed around and ensured I was safe throughout the trip which is a priority for female adventurers. I am not a very curious person so let him take me around and show as required. I would recommend you ask questions or set expectations from the start. I also had an opportunity to shop at the local factory, felt the prices were high but I am not too aware of the type of silks so gave into the pressure of purchasing 2 sarees :) you may want to plan accordingly. The owner of the shop is soo kind, he will flip the entire store for you. I was offered free snacks like tamatar chat, chai and lassi which was not included and covered in the plan. Guess I got lucky as I did not have change in most places, pls carry 10s,20s,50s with you handy. For template Darshan, I was able o skip the queue and cover sugam Darshan for which there was no charge but I ended up paying the pandit who helped me 500, be chanted some mantras so I felt like giving back. Boat ride was solo and peaceful, I had a very big boat to myself, Molu did call out the type of ghats but I did not dwell into the history and neither did he (worked for me) Ganga Arti was on a terrace where I got the 3rd seat as the water level was higher at the ghat. An interesting but congested experience, pls ensure to see the ghat one which is open and has lots of space. Appreciate your support Molu. All the best!
