Calming experience - Would recommend this trip as it was very interesting and gave you a chance to escape the chaos of Varanasi for a while. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we gained a real insight into the history of Budda. Very relaxing and informative.

A great tour 👍🏻😊 - Love ❤️ the Sarnath tour led by guide Indrajeet. Guide was very knowledgeable about the sights. They were on time at our hotel. All entrances inclusive. Driver was very trustworthy too. We placed our belongings with him when we went to museum. Guide brought us to a respectable money exchange too. Lunch was non inclusive but guide brought us to a great restaurant that serves delicious Thali sets. Very authentic foods. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Birthplace of Buddhism! - I was looking forward to the trip to Sarnath and I wasn’t disappointed - it was more than I had anticipated. A wonderful half-day trip from Varanasi! The communication and transport were easy - we left from the hotel in Varanasi and made a short drive to Sarnath. The guide, Indrajeet Kumar, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, kind, calm… perfect for this kind of tour. The grounds at the ancient site are beautiful and peaceful. I spent time meditating and taking it all in. The museum was surprisingly good - I was mesmerized by the famous statue of Buddha - so beautiful! I highly recommend this tour! Great addition to any trip to Varanasi!

Sarnath - About 8 to 10 kilometers is the Sarnath site. The stupa and lion with ashok Chakra are almost 2500 years. I think if you are in varanasi this is a must visit place. It is well maintained. You need one day to really see this place. Avoid holidays as lot of rush. Lot of school study tours are there on the weekends. Place is a bit dusty. Perhaps you can carry a face mask.

Not worth the price - Not worth the price, get an Uber or a taxi to sarnath and you can check it out by yourself. What the guide explained you could read on the explanations at the monuments by yourself. It’s way too expensive and you can easily do it by yourself.
