Note: For this tour, please ensure you arrive at the airport by 3 pm at the latest to make the most of your day. Varanasi is about an hour’s drive from the airport.

Sarnath - After freshening up, you will proceed to Sarnath, located 20 km from Varanasi. This is where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, marking the beginning of Buddhism. Emperor Ashoka later built several stupas and monuments here to promote Buddhism. Sarnath is also home to various animals and birds, with Deer Park being a notable attraction.

Sarnath Museum - The Sarnath Museum houses remnants of monasteries and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. After visiting the museum, return to the hotel to freshen up and prepare for more sightseeing.

Ganga Aarti - In the evening, you will experience the unforgettable Ganga Aarti at the River Ganges. This grand event starts at 5:00 pm and attracts people from around the world. The ceremony, held at Dashaswamedh Ghat, features young priests in saffron and white robes performing rituals with oil lamps and chanting mantras. Thousands of small oil lamps float on the river, resembling countless stars on the water. The well-choreographed ritual is a sight to behold. Spend the night in Varanasi. Blue Lassi Shop - In the evening, prepare to enjoy a street food tour in the narrow lanes of Varanasi, including Kachori Gali, famous for its Banarasi street breakfast kachori. Visit the renowned Blue Lassi shop and explore the bustling markets of Varanasi, tasting local street foods like chaat, lassi, and the winter special, paan malaiyo.

Assi Ghat - Early in the morning, witness the Morning Aarti at Assi Ghat, where you will see havan, aarti, and yoga. Then, enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges, a mystical and spiritual experience. Observe people offering water to the Sun God and taking holy dips in the river. The hand rowing boat tour will take you past all the famous ghats of Varanasi, where you can see daily life on the river, including people washing clothes, releasing ashes, and performing cremations at Manikarnika Ghat.

Manikarnika Ghat - The boat will drop you at Manikarnika Ghat, where you will receive a guided tour and explanation of this unique place. Walk for 30 minutes through the site, observing traditional ayurvedic oils, ancient buildings, homes, temples, and architecture.

Walk along the heritage ghats of Varanasi, from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat. Witness sages, daily life on the ghats, and the cremation process at Manikarnika Ghat. Your professional guide will share many stories and facts about Varanasi.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple) - While walking through the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, you will reach the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, reconstructed in 1780 by Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore. Note: Carry a copy of your passport, as it will be required for entry. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and learn interesting stories from your guide.

Banaras Hindu University - After breakfast, embark on a city tour starting from Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple), Manas Mandir, and BHU. Explore the world’s oldest city, visit sacred Hindu temples, walk through narrow lanes, and see ancient mosques. Return to the hotel.

The hand rowing boat ride starts from Dashashwamedh Ghat and goes to Harishchandra ghat & Manikarnika ghat and ends at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
