Cesarine boasts the title of the oldest network of home cooks spread across Italy. As gracious hosts, they welcome inquisitive travelers into their homes for rich culinary experiences.
- Please note that our Cesarine are ready and thrilled to host you in their homes! All Cesarine are always very careful and attentive of the important sanitary rules needed, even more now! The homes provide all the essential sanitary equipment for the guests (paper towels for washing hands, hand sanitizing gel and so on). Remember to always maintain 1 meter distance from each other and if not, wear masks and gloves

Amazing class, amazing teacher! - How do I even start? Absolutely everything about this experience was amazing, from the food to the views to the amazing conversation we had with Antonietta. Antonietta was an incredible teacher and and even better human. The conversations me and my girlfriend had with her were so intimate and full of joy. She mad us feel welcomed and made sure we felt like family in her home. Antonietta really made us feel special. She taught us very well, made sure we felt comfortable and made sure we learned every single step correctly. Antonietta not just taught us how to cook pasta and tiramisu but also taught us about her home, her culture and her family. Thank you so much Antonietta! When I come back I’ll make sure to book this class again but this time with friends and family so we can all experience your wonderful cooking. I absolutely recommend anyone to book her class. She was amazing and I can’t wait to be back! Thank you Antonietta!

Excellent Cooking Class - This was an amazing cooking experience! Patricia welcomed us into her home and we enjoyed the visit and class so much! We first made tiramisu which was so incredible! Then we made tortellini and tagliatelle, homemade sauce! I've never had better and we recommend this class highly! If I could rate it 100% I would!

A Fabulous Cooking Class in Varenna - My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the pasta and tiramisu class. Patrizia and Luca were warm and friendly, welcoming us into their home. Patrizia was well prepared with wine, appetizers and everything set up that we would need for our lesson. We had fun talking and preparing our meal. The food was delicious and the conversation wonderful. We would highly recommend taking this class next time you’re in Varenna!

Enjoyed home cooking experience in beautiful Bellano / Varenna - We had so much fun learning to make some authentic local dishes from our Cesarine Patrizia S. She is a warm person , patiently answered our many questions. Can't wait to try out what we learnt.

Enjoyed cooking with Federico! - We had a wonderful experience with Federico as our host and cooking instructor. He was welcoming, informative and passionate about food and wine. We learned about and made a pasta dish of the region -pizzoccheria alla valtellinese (buckwheat pasta with potatoes and swiss chard) - along with orecchiette with pesto made with basil fresh from Federico’s garden. Topped the evening off with delicious tiramisu that we made at the start of the class - yum! So much fun learning about his culinary experience and sharing a meal with him. Highly recommend enjoying a class with Federico!

Incredible experience on our honeymoon! - Incredible experience we did for our last night in como on our honeymoon! Patricia and her husband were so warm and welcoming and the service and attention to detail was top knotch from the start to the finish. I would recommend to all couples for a fun romantic night learning the local life

Lovely cooking class provided by Patrizia - Patrizia has a cozy home and a lovely kitchen set in the Italian mountains. She taught us how to make traditional pasta and tiramisu from scratch. She was kind and taught us well. The food turned out very delicious and we ate everything with an amazing view of the lake. This experience was well worth the price tag and it was easily my favorite part of my trip.

Greatest experience I’ve had in Italy - Cannot begin to explain how amazing of experience this was from the conversation to the cooking to the food knowledge and amazing views. Simply one of the best experiences I’ve ver had in Italy. Patrizia was amazing and she made it feel like I was with family cooking a meal. Everything was amazing!

Fun and delicious - We had a great evening of food and conversation with Patrizia and Luca! They showed us such warm hospitality in their lovely home. Patrizia took us all though the recipes step by step and we got to enjoy some delicious food she had cooked us as we went. We cannot wait to recreate the recipes at home.
We would recommend speaking to Patrizia a number of days before hand to arrange a taxi to and from the meeting point as it's difficult to get too with public transport.
