Great attraction. Must do. - You just have to visit the Castle and enjoy the views. About €5 to get in and access to everything. Fantastic panorama and little cafe. Only criticism is the climb but more importantly coming back down. Very uneven path and in the wet, lethal.

45 minutes in Varenna - You need to go very early to varenna so when its time to eat you can find a table.. I arrived by 12:40 and its was very crowded and couldn’t find a place to have lunch..
