My mother got the experience I wanted for her. - I really enjoys my experience with WithLocals and our tour guide Federico. He was super relaxed and helpful. I brought my mother to Rome and she cannot walk fast. Someone had recommended a private tour and I had trouble finding one in Spanish for my mom. Federico was super patient and kind. I felt like my mom learned a lot and had the perfect experience I wanted for her. Thank you Federico! You should definitely book with WithLocals if you can.

Perfectly guided tour - Frederico assessed our requirements at the beginning and then took us through the tour, checking along the way that he was providing the level of detail we were looking for which resulted in a perfect tour

Touring the Vatican Museum with Francesca - We were so glad that we booked our tour of the Vatican Museum with Francesca - she’s highly experienced, and is highly knowledgeable about the art and the history of the Vatican. Plus being with her, made it easier to navigate the museum which is both crowded and overwhelmingly large with so many things to see so having her be our guide helped us pick and choose where to spend our time and focus on the things we were really interested in. I booked the shorter tour with her, which I think was good, because we were all pretty tired that day, but if you have the time and energy, I bet the longer tour would be great. We still had some more things we wanted to see after the official tour culminated at the Sistine Chapel, and she gave us tips on how to navigate the museum on our own find the artwork on our list, which worked out great. Many thanks to Francesca for her expert guidance!

An excellent historical guide for Rome - Carlo Viti is an excellent guide with a deep knowledge of Ancient Rome. I do feel the Vatican tour should be at least 3 hours rather than 2.5 hours.

Quick but Impactful! - Our 1.5 hour tour with Valentina was perfect. We only had a short amount of time but she made sure made sure we saw the highlights and explained in details what we were seeing. She did such a great job that now my teenage son wants to return to learn more. Thank you Valentina! We will reach out again when we are back in Rome!

Fab private tour, and great value! - We visited the Vatican Museums and St Peters Basilica with Cecilia in December. Old buildings and iconic art is fascinating to my husband and me, but no so much to our 3 children (age 12, 11, and 8). Cecilia tried to make things interesting for the kids as well, which is not an easy feat. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and adjusted the tour based on our needs. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone!
