Divar island experience - Excellent tour. I loved understanding about the local Goan and Indo-Portuguese culture.. We did a boat ride, temple site visits, church visits and visited a house of native staying there.. It was a great experience and our tour guide Koonan was a great guy with lots of knowledge about the local area.. He showed us a lot of lovely places in the island..It was a fun experience

Explore the real Goa - It was a very interesting tour, with a very passionate person, Koonan, telling us stories which kept us engaged throughout. We learnt so much about the place and were surprised to know how few people visit the islands. The personal experiences and knowledge of Koonan added the fun and the context to all the stories. The afternoon would have been very different without this. I feel this is the best way to explore a place and soul travelling is doing a job which should be appreciated. We also had fun visiting a local house and learning so much about the community as a whole and the practices which are prevalent in the island. Goa say boatride was another added adventure of boating around the mangrove belt of the islands and exploring the flora and fauna of the area. We were lucky to have sited crocodiles during our ride too. High 5 to Mr Amrut, he is a wonderful storyteller. Overall a fun afternoon/evening. I would highly recommend to check out the options if you are in Goa for a couple of days. Especially if you like stories to get to know a place. Cheers

Carefully curated, excellent island tour - Soul Travelling outdid itself in this lovely island exploration tour. We had not heard of Divar Island, and everything about the tour surprised and delighted us. From the Indo Portugese church to the temple ruins, the beautiful boat ride across the mangroves(special shout to Mr Amrut from Goa.say.boatride), to the lovely house tour with Russel and Divya, wrapping up with the specially infused feni at Island Bar(Anilji is truly the magician), we loved every bit of it. Koonal was especially wonderful, did absolute justice to the narratives, and brought out a side to Portugese history which we will carry with us. Loved the tour, and can't wait to come back for more.
