Additional Information

Let yourself be transported across the lagoon and discover the most famous monuments of Venice aboard a panoramic eco boat. Starting from Venice S. Lucia Station (or from Tronchetto) enjoy the beauty of the Giudecca Canal and its palaces and churches: the Molino Stucky, the Church of the Gesuati, the Church of the Redentore and Punta della Dogana. Get off at Piazza S. Marco and let yourself be guided by the audio guides included in the ticket to discover the monuments, history and legends of the “Serenissima”. Depart from San Marco and reach the island of Murano where you will have the opportunity (included in the ticket price) to watch a master glassmaker demonstrate inside a real furnace.
For the entire duration of the boat journey you will always be accompanied by audio guides created by the Cooperativa Guide Turistici Authorized of Venice and by the famous Venetian storyteller Alberto Toso Fei.

Among the images you will find all the timetables.

I am really not satisfied because the cruise line canceled the trip at 15:30 from Burano without informing the customer in advan - According to the schedule, there is a departure every 1 hour from Burano island to Murano wharf but that day they arbitrarily canceled the 15h30 boat from Burano without informing the passengers in advance, I had to wait more than 1 hour for pick up next trip, this seriously affected our plans in Venice.

Autumn family trip - I bought 48 hours hop-on and hop-off for a small family to travel around Venice. However, we used to travel from Saint Marco to Murano and Burano and return to Zattere for day 1. On the day 2, we waited at the Zattere stop, but did not catch up with the 11:50 one and the 13:35 one was late to arrive. We were very disappointed with the limited time available in the time table for Wednesday and Thursday. Also, the audio was not working for us as followed on the instructions.

Bad experience - This was a waste of time and money. There is no need for hop on hop off in Venice. That is all I have to say

Hidden meeting place I couldn't find it - I spent about 45 minutes trying to find the meeting place. I asked several people but each of them explain something different. Therefore, I missed the opportunity of the ride and the money I spent it. I recommend it to separate this ride directly in one of the several kiosks that are around Piazza San Marcos.

Terrible. Choose a two day vaporetto pass instead - As far as value for money I would give less than one star. For another 5 euros you can buy a 2 day Vaporetto pass. Vaporettos have 19 different lines with at least 10 stops per line. You can essentially hop on and hop off everywhere in Venice. Service starts around 5am and ends around midnight. Venetiana only has 2 lines. Each line only has 4 stops. They run infrequently and stop early. Last stop at San Marco is 4pm!! They are too big for the grand canal so you must walk and walk and walk to each station. My knees are killing me from all the stairs in Venice and I missed whole neighborhoods that I would have seen if I had bought the 2 day vaporetto pass. I give the Venetiana hop on hop off a giant thumbs down. It is my only regret on my trip to the beautiful city of Venice.

Awful - This tour is a big fat nothing. I booked through Get Your Guide, but the same tour is apparently offered through Viator and other companies. We spent hours and hours on the boat (where there was no guidance given (other than the audio guide which i could not make work and of course the boat guides were of no use, nor were they at all friendly) to get to Murano where some tired guy does the same 10 minute glass blowing exhibition all day long (tips are expected) and then Burano which is very cute, but there's nothing to do but walk around or eat lunch. To get back to Venice we had to go in circles to different stops before heading back which took over an hour. But the worst part was when we got back they dropped us at the end of the day at a different stop than pickup. The tour guide operator at the beginning had said it's only a 15 minutes walk back to where you started and pointed the way I had walked from San Marcos Square The problem is that said walk included crossing the Grand Canal. If there was a walking bridge somewhere across my GPS could not find it. So I ended up having to walk and walk and walk for an hour to find a ticket machine to buy a vaporetta (bus) ticket which then would not scan to let me in (luckily some kind man scanned his monthly pass for me). I was practically in tears by the time I got back and completely exhausted. I tried contacting Get Your Guide and they were of no use whatsoever. They simply apologized as if that helps in any way. They did not offer a refund, a partial refund, a voucher for future use, or anything to show good faith. I cannot recommend this tour or this tour operator. If you want to see the islands you can do it much cheaper and quicker simply using the local public transportation system in Venice.
