Every Venice Kayak tour starts from our base in Cannaregio. Your guide will brief you on the route and safety procedures. Then, guests will be led to the gear where we have sun hats, dry bags,…
Our tour is a unique way to see the local Venice away from all the crowds. We explore areas that provide both a historical and modern perspective about Venice. Every Venice Kayak tour starts from our base in Cannaregio. Your guide will brief you on the route and safety procedures. Then, guests will be led to the gear where we have sun hats, dry bags, life vests, gloves and wet suits to help make your kayaking more comfortable. Once we are suited up you will be led to the kayaks where your professionally certified guide will give you a few lessons on kayaking properly through Venice. Once the guide sees you are set, it is time to go inside Venice to explore some truly hidden places. Throughout the tour your guide will take pictures so that you can remember the experience forever.

Amazing trip - This was amazing, the guide was great and shared loads of history. I was travelling with my daughter and never felt anything but safe. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the trip. Would recommend this company and tour to anyone that wants to see venice from the water.

Explore Venice Via Water - Great opportunity to explore the canals, without all of the tourist foot traffic. Even though we were paddling, it was nice and cool on the water.

Great for skilled kayakers - This is an excellent tour, but it is best for experienced kayakers. My daughter and I kayak several times a year, but it was very challenging for us. Our guide was excellent and very good at giving directions, making sure we’re safe and respectful to the traffic in the canal and also provided lots of history of Venice. Despite all that, I don’t think I would do it again unless I was much better at controlling a double kayak. It is hard to make sharp turns, keep up the pace and avoid summer season traffic. I was not able to enjoy the sights as much as I wanted to because the mental and physical effort was stressful.

Kayak Venice canals and lagoon. - Hands down the best way to see Venice! The guide was professional, explained how to paddle more efficiently, made the group comfortable with the equipment, explained City history and how to navigate the canals. It was truly a unique way to see Venice.

Unique way to see Venice - This was an incredibly unique adventure. Shamir took us through the canals and out to the lagoon and gave a wonderful description of the history of Venice. I highly recommend this experience (the canals did not smell bad at all). I will say if you have never kayaked before this adventure might be very challenging. There is a lot of gondola and motor boat traffic one has to keep paying attention and turn quickly at times. However Shamir was an excellent guide and kept a close eye on us. I am very glad I did this activity.

Amazing experience, added a memorable trip experience - I took a kayak trip at 5.00pm. And it was amazing. Despite not being in a kayak for a long time, the instructor reassured me and went through all the safety and tips I needed to to know.
We went out on the canels and it was incredible seeing the views of Venice from a water based perspective.
The instructor was really friendly, happy and knowledgeable and I learned alot about Venice and was asking alot of questions.
We saw a bit of the lagoon and it was amazing.
Kudos to the instructor who was professional, patient and friendly. As a result, I'm left with fond memories.

Stunning paddle!! - Absolutely stunning paddle! Never thought this was possible! Living the dream!
Our guide was superb and the nicest young man!
I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to see Venice from a different perspective!

Unique view of the city! - Samir was a wonderful guide. He told us all about the history of Venice and the architecture we passed by. Seeing the city the way was an incredible, unique experience, and I highly recommend it!!

Great way to tour the back canals! - We enjoyed our tour. Our guide was very organized and safety oriented. His English was excellent. The company had nice clean, kayak specific vests with a front phone pocket. Paddles were all in good condition. All except one of us had excellent, high quality seating. One of the better seats I’ve had for a rental kayak. Not sure why one Kayak didn’t have the newer seat. He ended up having back issues, so his experience was not the greatest, but the rest of us really enjoyed it!
Lots more boat traffic in the back canals, so I don’t recommend this for someone with minimal paddling experience

Not for beginners!!! - This is NOT a tour for beginners. If you do not have considerable experience, recommend you not choose this tour. You will be out on the busy canal with a lot of boats.
