• Plum Plum Creations di Arianna Sautariello - The ancient art of engraving, which in Venice had its greatest splendor and diffusion, will have no more secrets! For those who want a unique experience in the ancient world of craftsmanship, I organize individual courses (one or at most two people) to explain and put into practice the basic techniques of engraving. Participants will thus have the opportunity to create a real art print made by them (based on their original idea or their drawing) and take it home. An experience that they will certainly not forget - indeed, they can hang it in their home! The course includes the engraving with the drypoint technique on Plexiglas or drypoint on zinc. I will follow you in the choice of subjects, in the preparation of the drawings and during all the processing phases, from the initial study to the processing of the plate up to the final prints.

The time-honored tradition of etching, which notably reached its zenith in Venice, is about to reveal all its intricacies! I provide exclusive courses for those who wish to dive into the historical universe of artisan crafts, catering to one or two individuals at a time. These sessions uncover and deploy the fundamental principles of engraving, offering participants the chance to hand-craft their very own piece of art, based on a personal concept or sketch, which they can take home. This unforgettable experience also provides a keepsake that they can display in their household. The workshop comprises of drypoint etching techniques on either Plexiglas or zinc. I’ll be by your side throughout, assisting with subject selection, sketch preparation, and each stage of the production process, starting from the preliminary analysis to the final print processing.
