Great tour of The Doge's palace. - Our guide was excellent and had great information. Very good tour to a very interesting place. It was a lot of walking and a lot of stairs, so people with mobility issues should really consider whether or not this tour would be appropriate for them.

Boring unless you love palace history - The palace is impressive but this tour is for a history buff or art history student. I found it boring but the guide was pleasant

Worth seeing! - I loved that we got to walk through the Bridge of Sighs. The Palace was definitely worth seeing, and the guide was full of information.

Be aware of the meeting location- but a nice tour. - The biggest problem with our tour was finding the meeting location. It was due to others reviews online that helped us to find it. It is at a little wooden stand that has a small sign that says “meeting point” which was under an awning right next to the post office. It is just a meeting point where you receive your tickets and are then lead to meet up with another guide. It was a little stressful trying to follow the guide from the meeting point to the entrance to the palace without losing them. However, once inside Dogs’s Palace the tour was very nice. There is so much history and art we would have enjoyed having more time to explore, but our schedule did not allow for a longer time frame. The skip the line was a nice addition.

Pay attention to the... - Pay attention to the meeting place which is not at the Palace. Many participants were confused about. The meeting point. The guide did a good job and I could hear her well but my friends headset would not work consistently and she did not enjoy the tour.

GetYourGuide Fiasco not to be repeated - I bought these tickets online & received a ‘ticket’ which could be downloaded to my Apple wallet BUT then found these were not entry tickets and needed to be changed at a location in the square on the day. Despite given directions to find a specific souvenir stand to make the exchange, we found it difficult to locate! Staff at Doge’s could not help us so we walked the entire area in boiling heat, searching and asking several shop assistants until we finally located right over the other side of St Marks Square down a side road…and eventually changed our ‘ticket’ for an actual ‘entry paper ticket’ then having to walk back to Doge’s skip-the-line queue to finally get in. The experience was frustrating and stressful, one we would not repeat. Unfortunately I’d also bought tickets for the Basilica from GetYourGuide and again ‘tickets’ had to be changed but this time by relying on WhatsApp to send the real entry. The entire thing was bizarre and frustrating. We have traveled all over the world and never known anything like it. In future I will buy entry tickets from the venue directly.

I would not recommend this tour company. - I would not recommend this tour company. My family and I arrived 15 minutes early at the meeting site. I asked about 10 people if they were the tour guide for the palace tour. About 5 people said they didn't understand English and 5 said no. I also did not see any sign for the tour. We missed the tour and we were still charged for the tour. I contacted the company for a refunded because it was not my fault I could not find the tour guide.

tour company neglecting to meet us - I never write a review but had to report the tour company neglecting to meet my family as well as two other families waiting for this tour. We all waited and tried to separately call the tour company to resolve this issue. When I finally managed to make contact the company said “I was past the tour time and nothing could be done”. Of course I was past the tour time- the tour guide never showed up! Did mention that all of us were waiting in the rain. Poor service for sure!!
