- Venice - Arrive at the meeting point to board a minivan. With your driver at the wheel, enjoy the scenic drive towards the province of Belluno in northern Veneto. The first stop is Cortina d’Ampezzo, where we’ll take a half-hour break for a short walk in this famous town in the Ampezzo Dolomites.
Next, we’ll visit Lake Misurina, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cadore area, where you can admire the stunning Dolomite peaks, including the renowned Tre Cime di Lavaredo. We’ll then head to Lake Braies, one of Italy’s most beautiful lakes. You have two hours to enjoy lunch or take a scenic walk around the lake (about 4 kilometers, taking roughly 1.5 hours). You can also opt for a rowboat tour. In the early afternoon, we’ll return to the starting point.
- Cortina d’Ampezzo - Known as the “Queen of the Dolomites,” Cortina d’Ampezzo is the largest and most famous of the 18 municipalities in Ladinia. It’s a renowned winter and summer tourist resort and has hosted numerous international sporting events. It hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics and will co-host the 2026 Olympics with Milan. Enjoy some free time to explore this picturesque mountain town.
- Lago di Braies - Take an optional walk around the lake or relax in one of the lakeside cafes and enjoy the magnificent view.
- Tre Cime di Lavaredo - The Tre Cime di Lavaredo offers some of the best views of the valleys and peaks, with breathtaking scenery. Rifugio Auronzo - altitude 2333 meters (Not operational from 15 October to 31 May).
- Monte Piana - In winter, you can take a snowmobile up to 2325 meters for photos and then descend by snowmobile or sled (one-way route about 7 km). Additional cost of €25.00 to be paid on-site. Please specify in the notes if interested.
